"Despite having already been made into a movie this is apparently a goer again. The Once and Future King
Following on from its success with Harry Potter, US studio Warner Bros., is planning another link with magic, this time in the form of the legend of King Arthur and his links with Merlin. Acclaimed screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan is set to adapt T.H. White?s book The Once and Future King, though no further details have been announced. Warners is mooting that the film will be shot in the UK. Actors already being linked wit the project include Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet and Hugh Jackman - but then Hollywood loves to gossip about casting. The book is made up of four parts - the first section, The Sword in the Stone, was adapted into a successful animated film by Disney. In fact, Disney is said to be developing a live action version of The Sword in the Stone, with a screenplay by Jay Wolpert (who scripted the recent version of The Count of Monte Cristo). [ I don't know how old this article is. I searched around I couldn't find anything else..  It sounds pretty old, though ]
