Baby Matt Kelda's newest eddtion to the family! At first, Kelda was unsure of this little, noisy, needy bundle. She thought (or hoped) maybe he'd only stay a few days. The one thing Kelda did now is that her main human was not paying much attention to her!
As days turned into weeks, Kelda started to realize that Matt was not going anywhere. She began to investigate the little creature to see why everyone made a big fuss over him.
Kelda found Matt didn't do much. Actaully all he did was eat and nap. He didn't always smell very good. He made the most horrid meows. He certainly didn't throw a ball to her or stroke her cheeks.
As the weeks turned into months, Kelda discoverd that Matt was a source of warmth. He was nice to snuggle with at night when his limbs were still. His meows turned into playful cooing during the day and he watched Kelda intently as she would make her rounds about the house. He didn't chase her or pick her up when she wanted to be left alone like the other little humans. She thought that maybe he was okay and perhaps she would keep him.
By now her human was paying her the required amount of atttention Kelda needed. Things seem to be all back to normal around her house. Kelda was once again accompying her human in the bath and supervising her in the laundry room. 'Good Human', she thought, 'nice to have you back'.
And now, Kelda decided that she ought to watch out for the little guy. Someone had to teach him about kitties. About how cats needed to be caressed and snuggled. How humans should serve meals and provide treats for good cats (not bad cats, like Socks). And maybe with this human, she could raise it too open doors leading to the outide and to dark, private cabinets on command.
Yep, she'll keep Matt alright!
