Discrete math is a relatively new topic in elementary mathematics…or is it? Let’s explore what discrete math is as well as how to present the big ideas of discrete math to our students.
This 2-4 hour workshop introduces participants to the big ideas of discrete mathematics as well as provides practical, useable ideas for introducing the relevant discrete math concepts.
Workshops on vertex-edge graphs and combinatorics are also available for grades 6-8.
