The Following are scans of photocopies I made of documents held at the
Public Archives, Halifax, Nova Scotia. They pertain to a passport for
"Jean George Bouteillier" from Montbeliard, 1752. Wether this is our
man or a relative, I'm not certain.
Here is a photo of three of the actual playing cards drawn for town lots in Lunenburg in 1752 at St.Paul's Anglican Church, Halifax.
Here is a map of old town Lunenburg. The colours correspond to the divisions.
right to left- Zouberbuhler's Division, Creighton's Division, Moreau's Division, Rudolf's Division, Strasburger's Division and Steinfort's Division.
