It is important you understand a few things about
The Kingdom of Inethria.

-
We are a Human ONLY group.
-We are a European Medieval group. We are not samurais or elves. Please avoid wearing clothing from either of these groups unless it is part of a uniform or can be used to create a European look.
-We are not an inherently "good" nor "evil" group. We play our characters as real humans, with real passions, ambitions and faults. Only those who wish to role-play as part of the Kingdom will be guilded. This is not a catchall guild just for highlighting. If you are part of the guild, you are part of the Kingdom.

Before joining, you are expected to read and acknowledge the
R.O.E. section. This will be done through a short test ensuring your understanding of R.O.E.
Rank of Initiate
The Initiate rank is an introductory stage for a new member. Its main purpose is to give a temporary place in the Kingdom for a new member to begin at while learning about the guild's rules and role-play. There is no minimum time frame for one at this rank. You may take as long as you like, at this Rank, to read and learn about all that is offered before progressing. At this stage, as character is not expected to be good at role-playing, player vs. player combat, or take on a dragon toe to toe. In fact, most Initiates may very well be new characters and the player themselves could be new to Ultima Online. This is perfectly normal and accepted.

The Initiate rank can be skipped all together though it is not recommended and must be approved by the King. This is a great time to look over each 'Path' and think about how one would like to role-play their character within Inethria. Once the player has come to a decision, the King will promote him to the appropriate 'Path', where the player wll begin his journey to role-playing a member of Inethria. It is expected of an Initiate to take this time to read over all the information provided on the guild website, especially the 'Kingdom Information' section and to interact with other members.

Uniform:

- The Initiate will wear the guild colors, typically in the form of a sash or tunic. Such items will be provided upon joining the Kingdom.

Arms and Armor:

- The Initiate is to wear light to medium armor. This includes leather, ringmail and chainmail. The Initiate is not to wear plate armor except for a gorget and helmet, or any samurai or ninja armor that is not European medieval in appearance. Any weapon is allowed so long as it follows the rules of the Kingdom's role-play, i.e. samurai swords.

Restrictions:

- Cannot ride a mount. No items of samurai or elven heritage. Please use judgment in this area. You may use an item so long as it cannot be seen on your character. You may also use a weapon that is not overtly obvious, such as nun chucks. Ask a member of leadership with questions regarding particular items allowed.

Regarding Skills:

- There are no particular restrictions as to what skills your character may have on his template because the Initiate rank is merely a transition stage before deciding a 'Path' for your character to follow. It should be noted each 'Path' has its specific allocations for skills and their uses pertaining to the role-play of such areas. As an Initiate, do not be seen in game by other role players using the following skills; chivalry (except for
sacred journey), bushido, necromancy, poisoning, magery (except for recall and other 4th level and bellow spells), spell weaving and ninjistu.

Please keep in mind such restrictions are necessary to keep the role-play of The Kingdom of Inethria intact. There should be no problem for an Initiate to follow such rules because this is a learning stage for the player and allows him the ability to interact within the guild without having to know exactly what role-play or template of skills he will possess. For example, if your character is a mage and you have already decided upon role playing him as a mage then you ill be placed in the 'Path of the Wizard' and the restrictions of lower level spells will no longer effect you.

To join, please send an email with your ICQ# or AIM screen name, brief description of your character, how much experience you have with Ultima Online and role playing, and any questions to
