Doomsday Book
Anno Domini Two Thousand and Five
Year One of the Kingdoms of Chivalry
In the Days when the Worlde was Younge, there were the Gods, and not the least amonge these was Loki, the Mischevious.  He was the One who Watched the Actions of the Small, Insignificant People as they Played their Games, and Decided to Cause Trouble, for this was His Way.  He brought Unrest and Discord.  He Turned One Group against Another, all for His Personal Entertainment.  This Time however, he Underestimated the esourcefullness of the Group he Targeted, for they Resisted the Troubles he Caused, and Came out of these Dark Ages with their Heads held High, and their Bonds of Friendship not only Intact, but Strengthened.
Okay, okay, so we can create tales along the lines of the great Norse storytellers.  Since it would be somewhat heavy going to read (let alone write) our Doomsday Book (Annual Report to Members) in this manner, we won't.

The Inaugural Year of the Kingdoms of Chivalry began officially on July 4, 2005, the date of the final ratification of the Manual.  However, this was after several months of playing under no name and hashing out that manual!  Our Viscounts and Viscountessess (founding members) worked hard at creating the Manual, and coming to agreements on the issues many issues raised.  They are recognized here for their efforts.
Viscountess Analiese VandenDikkenberg
Viscount Aodhan MacGowan
Viscount Birka Kveld-Ulf
Viscountess Caoilin MacGowan
Viscountess Juliana of Aelfrethscoombe
Viscount Mathe Brakkewinde
Viscountess Roselun H'tur
Viscount Vane Mowbray

As a group, we offer our thanks to the many groups who came before us.  We especially thank those organizations listed in our manual, for they had a direct influence upon us, and upon the resulting Manual.

The birth of the Kingdoms of Chivalry saw two Kingdoms form, Paladias to the north (TriCities, WA), and Forspirata to the south (Echo, OR).  We began with 15 members.  By the end of the year we had grown to 19 members.  Kingdom elections were held in June, and the first organization wide election approved Sir Mathe Brakkewinde as Senate Praetor.

The first event held as a "Kingdoms of Chivalry" event with members of both Kingdoms organizing events, was Plaid War, held at Mary Hill State Park, WA.  40 people attended this event, including our friends from other organizations, and it is still remembered fondly.  Not only for field and bridge battles, but for feasts, general revelry, and time spent with good friends.

A website has been set up on GeoCities until such time as KoC can afford to set up and maintain a private domain site.  This has been set as a future goal.

The following reports detail the activity of the Kingdoms.

Kingdom of Forspirata

Kingdom of Paladias
