Archery
	Archery is an ancient skill, developing all over the world.  Kingdoms of Chivalry includes the study and practice of this skill.  Practice nights are held, and skills tournaments give a chance to compete.  While competitions are against oneself, it is always fun to see how others are doing, and to share the experience with others.  Coming into the group with no archery  experience is fine.  Many who came before you learned in the organization, and you will probably be learning right along side someone else! Points for Knighthood are earned for participating in events, and by your score. Longbow archery includes bows designated as "longbows," as well as horse bows, "D" bows, and any bow found within period, except crossbows.  Recurves are period, depending exactly upon the type of bow, and even modern bows are acceptable until Knighthood has been reached. Crossbow archery is also designed to be with period bows, but if you have a modern bow, it may be able to be used, with certain limitations, until you can get a period crossbow. Compound bows are not allowed since they are too modern to even be allowed with exceptions.
