Who We Are...
Kingdoms of Chivalry is a Medieval and Renaissance Re-creation group that formed in the spring of 2005.  Our focus is on educating ourselves and others on all aspects of life in the period 410 to 1649.  Our philosphy is not to create a carbon copy of the Middle Ages, but to recreate the feel of this period in history with a 21st Century mind.  More than education, we value the fun and fellowship we have together.

We have six paths to Knighthood, with each Discipline earning points as you participate.  The six tracks are:
Academia Artifex: for the artisans and historians.  Entries are welcome on arts, crafts, skills, and even the history of the period.

Archery has two Knighthood Discipliness, one for Longbow archery, and one for Crossbow archery.

Combat also has two Knighthood Disciplines: Rapier Combat, beginning with Rapier and working up to Heavy Ren; and Broadsword Combat, which begins with Shinai, moves to Waster, and then to Live Steel.

Ministry: the sixth Knighthood rewards all the work that goes into making events happen for the group.

You say you are a go getter and want to work on more than one thing?  Well, here's a little more incentive.  Any member who earns four Knighthoods, and a total of 750 points within three years of joining Kingdoms of Chivalry also earns the title of Paladin.

Earning a Knighthood isn't important to you?  That's fine!  We're all here to learn and enjoy ourselves, however we wish to participate.

Children and Re-creation
Kingdoms of Chivalry also recognizes that when we play, our children want to as well, so we have activities for our Junior members.  Those under thirteen can begin to learn the adult skills, and compete with each other.  Juniors may participate in Academia, Longbow Archery, Shinai Combat, and are always gratefully allowed to help events function.  Members too young for even the Junior events, the Younglings, may also have activities set up for them.  While babysitting is not part of these activities, entertaining and including these younger members is important to us.  We are a group for families, and every member of our families are important to us.

At this time we have members, and Kingdoms, in Washington and Oregon, but are always willing to help you set up a new Kingdom where you are.  If you like the sound of what we are doing contact
