Chapter 9


Meanwhile back at Weiss home base, Yohji came knocking at Aya’s bedroom door.

“Come in…” Aya calls out as he lay on his bed with his arms crossed under his head looking out the window up at the night sky.

“Hey Aya just wanted to let you know we are taking off over to Stacey and the others.” Yohji tells him standing just inside the door, “You sure you do not want to go and hang out with us?”

Aya turns looking at Yohji as he tells him, “I am cool Yohji Thanks anyway.”

Yohji nods as he starts to back out of the room he hears Aya say something he pushes the door back open saying, “What was that Aya?”

Aya looks at Yohji as he says, “I was just thinking out load Yohji, but I do have something I want to ask you since your still here?”

“Sure Aya what is that?” Yohji asks.

“Well I asked Chris to stay here in Japan with me after the mission with Sacred Hearts. I was wondering…”

Ken cut off Aya walking in behind Yohji as he says, “Hey that’s awesome Aya. So is she staying?”

Aya looked at Ken as he smiles as he says, “I do not think so.”

“Well maybe after she gets back you can ask her again. Once she finds out the others are staying she may change her mine.” Yohji tells him.

Aya sits up in the bed with an odd look on his face as he asks, “So the others are staying after the mission?”

“Well I do not know about Ken here, but I am going to talk my ass off to try and keep Stacey here.” Yohji says.

“I am right behind you on that idea with Susie.” Ken says.

“Omi is going to ask Jen tonight to stay here as well.” Yohji tells them.

“And what if they do not want to stay here what if they want you to go to the states with them?” Aya asks.

The room fell silent as Ken and Yohji looked at one another and then at Aya as Ken asks, “Did Christine ask you to go to the states with her?”

“No not yet, but it was brought up when we talked about her staying here.” Aya tells them.

“And what did you tell her?” Yohji asks.

“If that is what she wanted I would follow her to the states.” Aya said.

“So you’re not only going to quit Weiss, but you are going to leave us behind as well.” Ken says.

Aya lay back down on the bed crossing his arms under his head looking back out the window as he said, “If that is what she wants, then that is what she will get. I love Chris and I will go to the ends of earth with her if it will make her happy and if it means we will be together.” Aya does not move to look back at the guys as he adds, “We all know if they all do not stay none of them will stay. You may want to think about that.”

Yohji and Ken look at one another as they stand there Ken heads out the door first as Yohji follows closing the door behind him.

Once out in Yohji’s car, Ken sat in the passenger’s seat looking out onto the road Yohji started the car and looked over at Ken.

“America…” Ken said in a pondering tone, Ken looks at Yohji as he asks him, “What do you think Yohji a new start where no one knows us. No Kritiker, No Schwartz, No one out to kill us because they know us as Weiss, just a fresh new start in our new lives with the ladies we love?”

Yohji smiles as he says, “It sounds too good to be true Ken is what it sounds like. Let’s talk to the girls first and see what they want to do.” Ken nods and Yohji drives off to Dragonfly home base.


Later that night we find Omi and Jen walking from the theater Jen had her arm locked with Omi’s.

They smile at one another as Omi asks, “So did you enjoy the show?”

“Yes very much so Omi I was shocked how good it was. I was afraid it was not going to be.” Jen said.

“Well good I am glad I picked a good movie for us to go see.” Omi says. Jen smiles at him laying her head on Omi’s shoulder as they walked along.

As they walked neither one said a word they just enjoyed one another’s company. When they got to the teashop, Omi opened the door for Jen to walk in first as he placed his hand in the small of her back leading her in and to a table. Omi reached for the chair pulling it out for her as Jen took a seat at the table.

Omi took a seat across from her reaching across the table he looks into Jen’s eyes and smiles as he says, “I have something I want to ask you Jen, but I do not know where to start or how to say it.”

Jen looks at Omi as she smiles she tells him, “Well CC always told me it does not matter how you say it. If the person is going to take it wrong they are going to take it wrong no matter how you sugar coat it.”

“Well it is not bad, it is just… Well I… I have never…” Omi stumbles with his words as he blushes slightly.

Jen squeezes his hand as she says, “Just say it Omi.”

Omi smiles as he blurts out quickly, “I want you to stay here with me after the mission on Sacred Hearts.” Jen becomes shocked by what he asked her as she sits back in her chair, her hand slides from Omi’s. Omi looks at Jen, as her eyes are wide and her face blank.

“Jen are you alright?” Omi asks her. Jen sat there not knowing what to say as she just looked at Omi across the table from her. Omi was not sure what to say or do as Jen stared at him.

When out of nowhere two guys in leather jackets and looking like they walked straight out of a Biker movie, walked up to their table they looked at Omi and went straight to Jen’s side.

The one guy knelt down next to Jen as he says, “What’s the matter sexy. The dork here getting on your nerves.”

“Why don’t you come with us we know how to show our bitches a good time.” The other said. Jen looks at the one standing closest to Omi giving him a dirty look, Jen was about to say something as Omi stood.

The guy pushed Omi back into his seat he leans down on the table getting in Omi’s face saying, “Stay in your seat Dork, unless you want me to hurt you?”

The one kneeling next to Jen starts to chuckle, Jen looks at him and smiles with a slight chuckle as well. Before the guy knew it Jen planted his head in the edge of the table. Jen jumps to her feet as the one guy standing next to Omi step back from them.

Omi stood looking at the guy all of a sudden the guy pulls a knife saying, “You crazy bitch what did you do that for?”

“Because I do not like you and if I was you I would get your buddy and get the hell out of here, before my boyfriend here kicks your ass into next week.” Jen tells him.

The guy growls and lunges at Jen, Omi grabbed his arm and had him face first on the floor twisting his arm behind him with his foot on his head. Omi pushed down on the guy’s wrist as the guy dropped the knife he was holding in his hand.

“Now tell the lady you are sorry for what you called her.”

“Go to hell!!” the guy tells him. Omi applies more presser to the guys head and bends his wrist down more as he screams in agony.

“ALL RIGHT… ALL RIGHT!!”

The guy says softly to Jen, “I am sorry…”

“What was that…” Omi said hurting him more. “I did not hear you so I know she did not.”

“I AM SORRY ALL RIGHT… I AM SORRY!!” The guy yells. Omi pushes the guys head once more into the floor letting go of his arm. They guy stayed on the floor as Omi walked over to Jen taking her hand and leading her from the table out of the teashop.

Jen started laughing as she jumped into Omi’s arms and hugged him she says, “I cannot believe that just happened to us, but we were awesome together. We kicked their butts.” Omi chuckled putting his hands on Jen’s sides slowly pushing her away to look in her eyes. “I love you Jen…”

Jen stopped and stood there in front of him when a big smile broke out on her face she touches Omi’s cheek with her hand saying, “I think I have fallen in love with you as well Omi.” Omi smiles pulling her close to him once more as their lips brush against one another’s and they kiss. As the night went on for Omi and Jen, they talked about Jen staying and why she would or why she would not stay.


Meanwhile we find Susie, Ken, Stacey, and Yohji having the same conversation between them as they sat in the living room. Yohji sat next to Stacey on the couch with his arm draped behind her resting it on the couch. Ken sat on the floor in front of Susie as she sat in the chair behind him resting her hands on his shoulders.

“Ok wait a minute.” Stacey says. “So you guys are saying Aya is moving to the states with Chris if she does not agree to stay here, and you think we all should move back to the states together?”

“Yeah Stac, Aya said they talked about both her staying and him going. Aya is all ready to move to the states with Christine from the way he was talking about it.” Ken says.

“But what are you guys going to do for work once you get there?” Susie asks them.

“What ever we want?” Yohji says chuckling, “We got enough money we could start our own business if we want.”

“Yeah and what business might that be Yohji?” Stacey asks him.

“Well hell I do not know, but I am sure there are plenty of things we all can do together.” Yohji says.

“What about your car?” Susie asks knowing that was Yohji’s pride and joy.

“I will sell it, hell what is a family man going to do with a sports car. I do not need it any more.” Yohji says.

Stacey gets a blank look on her face as she asks, “You would do that?”

Yohji looks over at her as he says, “Well yeah I would. We can use the money to get a family car or a down payment on a house for all of us.”

“All of us as in who?” Stacey asks in a questioning tone.

“Well you me and the kids of course.” Yohji says.

Stacey chuckles shaking her head as she says, “I cannot believe this.”

“What’s not to believe Stac? We want to be with you girls and we are willing to go to great lengths to be with you.” Ken says.

“Like selling your bike Ken?” Susie asks him knowing Ken’s bike is his baby.

“Well yeah I can replace that when I get in the states.” Ken says.

Susie laughs as she says, “You better or I will not have anyone to ride with besides Christine.”

Ken chuckles as he says, “We will have to get Aya one so we all can go for a weekend ride.”

“That would be nice.” Susie says smiling.

“What about Kritiker?” Stacey asks.

“What about them, this is not like the first time we have walked from Kritiker and the best part is they will not be able to call us back because we will not be here for them to do that.” Yohji says.

“The only thing that I do not understand about all this is Aya will be leaving his sister behind.” Ken says.

“Yeah that one kind of got me as well unless he has something up his sleeve.” Yohji says.

“Well all I know is we all need to sit down as a group and talk about this. After all, you guys are going to be giving up a lot to move to the states with us, and Omi he is going to be graduating soon like Jen. Jen right now lives with me and if Omi moves with us…”

Yohji cuts Stacey off as he says, “Omi will go with Aya he looks up to Aya as his big brother you will not get those two apart. At least until Aya tells him to get the heck out.”

Stacey looks at Yohji smiling as she finishes, “Well then I guess all we can do is sit, and everyone talk about this.”

“If everyone agrees to this, then what?” Susie says.

“We pack…” Ken says chuckling.

“I am worried about Omi and Jen. They are my main concern here right now. I know Jen wants to graduate with her friends in the states, I am sure Omi wants to do the same with his here.” Stacey says.

“Omi has a few friends here in school, but nothing like you would think. I am sure he would not care as long as we are all together.” Ken says.

“I hope you are right Ken.” Stacey says.

Ken nods as he leans his head back into Susie’s lap looking up at her he smiles as he says, “This is going to be great.” Susie smiles running her hand under Ken’s chin moving down and kissing him.

Stacey looks over at Yohji as Yohji slides his arm around Stacey pulling her close to him he kisses her on the forehead Stacey chuckles touching his cheek with her hand she pulls Yohji to her and gives him a kiss on the lips.


Later the next day Christine’s plane lands in Miami, Florida. She walks out onto the ramp from the plane that leads her to the airport terminal. Christine was in her own little world as her mind was still on the conversation her and Aya had back in Japan. When Christine steps in to the airport lobby, she hears someone yell her name.

“CHRISTINE!”

Christine looks around as she saw Aya walking toward her; she stopped walking as she said softly, “Aya…” Christine blinks her eyes a few times and looks again as she saw Sebastian walking toward her, she smiles as she thinks to herself, “My God they do look a lot alike. The only difference is Sebastian has green eyes.”

Sebastian walks up to her taking Christine in his arms giving her a hug saying, “It is good to see you Chris. I have missed you this last month.”

Christine smiles at him as she says, “I have missed you as well Sebastian.” Christine gives him a hug back. "What are you doing here?”

“I came to pick you up silly.” Sebastian tells her.

“What if someone sees us here?” Christine asks.

“So what let them see us, after all we are only friends, right?” Sebastian says. Christine nods as they walk off to get her things from the luggage area.

“I went by the house and checked up on it. The maid is keeping the dusting up and the plants watered very well.” Sebastian tells her.

Christine looks at Sebastian confused as she says, “You still have a key to the place?”

Sebastian chuckles shaking his head he says, “You are suffering from some serious jet lag Chris. Of course, remember you thought it was for the best if something happened to you on a mission. I mean after Brad took off from your life as he did you did not have anyone else, until the rest of Dragonfly came together.”

“I have Stacey…” Christine says still confused.

“Well yeah and she has a key as well.” Sebastian looks at Christine she did not look so good, as she looked at Sebastian.

“Are you alright Chris you have me worried?” Sebastian says.

“I think I need to sleep Sebastian. I have had a lot on my mind the last few days and I think it is finally got to me.” Christine says.

“I understand we can talk tomorrow about what you came back for.” Sebastian says.

Christine sees her bag as it comes their way she replies, “There it is Ran, the purple one there.”

Sebastian looks at Christine with an odd look on his face, but says nothing to her as he goes and picks up her bag walking back to her and leading her to the car.

Once in the car Christine sat there looking out the passengers window watching the cars go by. Neither Sebastian nor Christine spoke to one another.

Just before Sebastian pulls on to Christine’s street, he asks, “So who is Ran?”

Christine quickly looks at Sebastian as she says, “Ran… Where did you hear that name?”

“From you at the airport.” Sebastian tells her, “So who is he?”

Christine looks back out the window as she says, “A guy I met in Japan.”

“Is he the one that has your mind and heart all tied in knots right now?” Sebastian asks her.

Christine looks at Sebastian as she says, “I am sorry Sebastian. I am not here to talk about my love life with you.” Sebastian pulls into the driveway and puts the car in park as Christine opens the car door and goes to step out Sebastian touches her arm.

Christine turns looking at him as he says, “I am just worried about you Chris. If you need to talk later you know how to reach me.”

Christine nods as she smiles saying, “Thank you Sebastian and I will call you later, but not about my love life.”

Christine steps from the car grabbing her bag from the back seat. She closes the door and walks toward the house opening the door and going inside as Sebastian sat there and watched her go in closing the door behind her.

Christine walks into her room dropping her bag to the floor as she walks toward the bed she pulls at her clothes taking them from her body and dropping them to the floor. She gets down to her bra and panties, she pulls the covers down on the bed and falls into it pulling the covers up and over her, before she knew it she was fast asleep in her own bed back home were she belonged.


Hours later Christine was woke up by the phone ringing that was next to her bed.

“Welcome back…”

Christine sat up in bed as she exclaims, “What do you want Scotty?”

“I was wondering why you came home. I mean you of all people came home. If it would have been Thumper or Scorpio, I could have understood it better, but Ice for you to leave in the middle of an assignment. Something must be really bothering you. Tell me did Weiss get to you that bad?” Scotty says in a pondering tone.

“Weiss has nothing to do with this Scotty and why are you bringing them into it anyway?” Christine asks.

“Well after all you have been spending a lot of time with them since you arrived in Japan and you all have met.” Scotty tells her.

“Hmm… You think you are so cleaver Scotty. How long did it take you to figure that one out?” Christine asks.

“Not long after you pulled Schwartz into your little plans Ice.” Scotty says.

Christine laughs as she says, “I do not know who is feeding you all this BS Scotty, but if I was you I would fire them and quick, because they do not know what they are talking about.”

“I know you have something up your sleeve Ice and it is over Sacred Hearts and I will tell you now. If you can get this to work and bring Sacred Hearts down, I will back what ever you are doing with Weiss a 100%, but if it fails I will send Terminal after you and Sebastian will know nothing of it.” Scotty tells her, “and if you tell one person of this conversation I will deny every word of it.”

“I need a pilot?!” Christine says quickly.

“So you come to get Bastian.” Scotty says.

“Yes…” Christine replies.

“Then I will turn a blind eye when he follows you to Japan, but I warn you Ice who ever you pull into this little plan of yours… If it fails, they too will be hunted just as Dragonfly, Weiss, and Schwartz.”

“You do not have to worry about it failing Scotty. I have the best and THE BEST NEVER FAIL.” Christine says in full confidence.

“Then Ice I will see you after Sacred Hearts is brought to an end.” The phone went dead as Christine sat there listening to a dial tone. She hangs up the phone and falls back to her bed drawing her arm to her forehead. She closes her eyes as the images of Dragonfly, Weiss, and Schwartz dance in her head.

She whispers into the darkness of her room, “We are the best and we will not fail I know we will bring Sacred Hearts crashing down once and for all.”

Christine gets up from the bed going to her bathroom to take a shower. Once she was out, she slide into her robe and went downstairs to get a bit to eat.

She opens the refrigerator seeing it filled with food, she chuckles saying. “Thank you Sebastian.”

Christine makes her a sandwiched and grabs a drink, she goes to the living room turning on the TV she looks at the clock as she sighs, “Three in the morning, there is not going to be crap on.”

She flips through the channels finishing her food. When she was done, she went back to bed to get the rest of the sleep her body was so badly craving.

Once back in her bed Christine laid there looking at the ceiling as she thought, “Well Scotty made this a lot easier on me. Now all I have to do is talk to Sebastian and get him in on it. I hope he will join in on the fight we could really use his help to get us to the reserve and even his fighting skills would be a great help as well.”

Christine’s mind started to drift back to the talk her and Aya had before she left as she says aloud, “Well Aya I guess after all this is said and done I will have a new roommate.” Christine chuckles as she rolls over in bed she yawns soon after she finds herself back to sleep.


The next day in Japan with Dragonfly and Weiss, we find Stacey and Susie up running around the house cleaning and just taking it easy. Jen comes walking out of the back rooms from her bedroom.

As she walks into the living room, Jen yawns stretching arms above her head as she says,“Good Morning…”

“You mean Good after Noon lazy butt.” Stacey says walking by her to the kitchen.

Jen smiles as she chuckles replying, “I was tired what can I say.”

“Well get changed get something to eat and help out around here.” Susie says.

“What time is it?” Jen says looking around not seeing the clock anywhere.

“Not sure Stacey is washing the walls so she took everything off the wall… clock included.” Susie replies.

Stacey walks from the kitchen with a bucket of water and a rag as she says, “It is 12:45.”

“Oh WOW I only have an hour and fifteen minutes.” Jen says.

Stacey looks over at Jen as she asks, “An hour and fifteen minutes for what?”

“Omi is coming over so we can go out again we were going to go do some shopping and hanging out today.” Jen tells her.

“You mean to tell me she is going to get out of cleaning today…” Susie says looking at Jen and then over at Stacey, “That is not COOL…”

“Jen, Sus is right you need to stay here and help us out this is your job as well.” Stacey says.

“But I want to go shopping for new things.” Jen says.

“New things… You got enough new things since we have got here. You came with two bags and you’re going to leave with 20.” Susie says.

Jen gets a snotty, who cares, look on her face as she turns around heading back to her room she says, “Who says I am going back.” Stacey and Susie stop working, as they look at one another they both head down the hall to talk to Jen and see what was going on.
