apple pie

28 caramels
2 tbsp.water
4 cups of sliced apples
3/4 cup flour
1 9" unbaked shell
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup oleo
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans

Heat until smooth, layer apples and
sauce in shell, combine flour. sugar,
cinnamon in bowl. Cut in oleo til
mixture crumbles, stir in nuts.
sprinkle over pie.
Bake at 375* for 40-45 minutes.

1 can french style green beans
1 can peas
1 can corn
1 sm. jar pimentos
1 can lima beans

Drain all: add onion, green peppers
and celery to own taste.
Mix:
3/4 cup of surgar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup of oil
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
pepper to taste
heat to boiling, pour over veggies
refrigerate overnight

Beat 3 eggs on high for 5 min. gradually beat in:
1 cup white sugar,
stir in 2/3 cup pumpkin,
1 tsp. lemon juice.
Sift together:
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
Fold in pumpkin mixture,
spread into well greased and
floured 15x10x1 pan. Top with
1 cup finely chopped walnuts.
Bake at 375* for 15 minutes.
Towel out on a towel sprinkled
with powdered sugar starting at narrow end,
roll towel and cake together,
cool---unroll:
combine:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 lg. pkg. cream cheese
4 tbs. oleo
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Beat until smooth, spread
over cake, roll and chill.
Can decorate with artifical holly,
etc. to look Christmasie or decorate
to look like yule logs.

3 cups mashed sweet potatos
add: 2 well beaten eggs
then add the following ingr.
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
put 3 tbsp. melted oleo in baking dish
Pour mixture in baking dish, then put on topping mixture>
Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. oleo
1/3 cup flour
Mix together, put on top
may add pecan pieces to
mixture or sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350* fpr 45 minutes.

2 sm. pkg. of lemon jello
2 cups of boiling water
2 cups 7-up
1 can crushed pineapple (save juice)
2 large bananas
1 cup minature marshmallows
Dissolve jello in boiling water,
add 7-up, let partially set, add pineapple,
sliced bananas and marshmallows.
Top:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs beaten
1 cup pineapple juice
Cook everything until thick,
then cool. Fold in 2 cups cool whip,
spread on top of jello, then top
with pecan halves.

3/4 lb. fat-free mozzarella cheese (Healthly Choice)
15 oz. fat-free Ricotta Cheese
6 tbsp. grated Parmesan chees
1 lb. lasagna noodles (cooked as directed)
27.5 jar-Ragu todays chunky garden harvest spagetti sauce
1/2 onion chopped (3/4 cup)
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
1 lb. ground beef
14 oz. Healthly Choice low fat smoked sausage
Beat 2 egg whites and Ricotta cheese,
set aside, grind sausage in food processor,
spray skillet, then cook beef and susage
together until done, add mushrooms, onions,
cover and cook 4-5 min.
add spagetti sauce and mix well.
Spray 9x13 pan, layer all ingredients,
starting with noodles until all is used.
Bake at 350* or so min.
if made ahead and frozen, bake for 45-55 min.

1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
dash of salt
4 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
5 cups min. marshmallows
1 1/3 cup semi-sweet choc.
3 tbsp. butter
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups rice crispies

Grease and flour a 15x10x1 baking pan.
Melt butter in sauce pan.(remove from heat)
Stir together:
sugar, cocoa, salt, add melted butter,
eggs, vanilla and flour. Pour in pan.
Bake 20 min. at 350*
Top hot brownie with marshmallows
and put back in oven on broil until starting to melt.
Melt choc., peanut butter, butter, stir in cereal
spread over cooled marshmallow top.
Let cool til choc. is set.

8-10 med. apples
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick of oleo
1/2 cup white sugar
slice apples, arrange in bottom of 9x9 pan or casserole dish.
cut up 1/2 of oleo and drop on top of apples.
Mix:
white sugar, brown sugar, flour, oats
sprinkle over apples.
cut rest of oleo and place on top.
Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
