Koi are ideal for a large, deep pond.

Koi are ideal for a large deep pond of 10,000 liters(2,200 gallons) or more.  They can be kept in smaller ponds but soon will outgrow them.

Pond size

Koi are social fish and do not worry mixing it with other fish, although very small fish may be eaten accidentally when the koi are surface feeding, as they cannot see infront of their mouths.
