Racoon's may appear at night looking for a quick meal.

Cats are curious, and they are natural hunter's some may not be interested on pond because they don't like water.  But cat may sit at the pond edge waiting for a fish to swim near and try to catch one.  If being lucky it could catch one or scratch the fish and creat a wound.

Muskrats are very destructive as they dig burrows into the sides of the pond in which they live inorder to raise their kits. They will dig right through liner materials causing leaks they will eat your aquatic plants.
