In the summer, all life in and around the pond grows and thrives.  Due to strong sunlight and high nutrient supply,  algae may multiply rapidly.  It is advisable to check pond water throughly.

Remove any debris from the surface of the pond.  If needed do partial water changes.   Check your pump and sumerged pump for any blockage.  Remove the dead leaves on your plants. Replace evaporated water regularly.

Management

Test water quality and clean the filters to keep ammonia level to a minimum. And test Ammonia level and nitrate

Water Quality

Feed them in a amount equal to what they can consume in three to five minutes

Check the fish for any sign of illness
