Symtpoms of Lyme Disease

  1. Tick bite (deer, dog or other)
  2. Rash at site of bite
  3. Rashes on other parts of your body
  4. Rash basically circular and spreading out
  5. Raised rash, disappearing and recurring
  1. Unexplained hair loss
  2. Headache, mild or severe
  3. Twitching of facial or other muscles
  4. Facial paralysis (Bell's Palsy)
  5. Tingling of nose, cheek or face
  6. Stiff or painful neck
  7. Jaw pain or stiffness
  8. Sore throat
  1. Double or blurry vision
  2. Increased floating spots
  3. Pain in eyes, or swelling around eyes
  4. Oversensitivity to light
  5. Flashing lights
  1. Decreased hearing in one or both ears
  2. Buzzing in ears
  3. Pain in ears
  4. Ringing in one or both ears
  1. Diarrhea
  2. Constipation
  3. Irritable bladder (trouble starting, stopping)
  4. Upset stomach (nausea or pain)
  1. Joint pain or swelling
  2. Stiffness of joints, back, neck
  3. Muscle pain or cramps
  1. Shortness of breath, cough
  2. Chest pain or rib soreness
  3. Night sweats or unexplained chills
  4. Heart palpitations or extra beats
  5. Heart blockage
  1. Tremors or unexplained shaking
  2. Burning or stabbing sensations in the body
  3. Weakness or partial paralysis
  4. Pressure in the head
  5. Numbness in body, tingling, pinpricks
  6. Poor balance, dizziness, difficulty walking
  7. Increased motion sickness
  8. Lightheadedness, wooziness
  1. Mood swings, irritability
  2. Unusual depression
  3. Disorientation (getting or feeling lost)
  4. Feeling as if you are losing your mind
  5. Overemotional reactions, crying easily
  6. Too much sleep, or insomnia
  7. Difficulty falling or staying asleep
  1. Memory loss (short or long term)
  2. Confusion, difficulty in thinking
  3. Difficulty with concentration or reading
  4. Going to the wrong place
  5. Speech difficulty (slurred or slow)
  6. Stammering speech
  7. Forgetting how to perform simple tasks
  1. Loss of sex drive
  2. Sexual dysfuntion
    females only:
  3. Unexplained menstrual pain, irregularity
  4. Unexplained breast pain, discharge
    Males only:
  5. Testicular or pelvic pain
  1. Unexplained weight gain, loss
  2. Extreme fatigue
  3. Swollen glands
  4. Unexplained fevers (high or low grade)
  5. Continual infections (sinus, kidney, eye, etc.)
  6. Symtpoms seem to change, come and go
  7. Pain migrates (moves) to different body parts
  8. Early on, experienced a "flu-like" illness, after which you
    have not since felt well.
