Animals and I have always gotten along well. Cats are my favorite though. I have two of my own right now. They're independant but very loving. When I am sad or depressed they stay right by me, almost to the point of driving me crazy. Another cat in the family but not living here is Tigger. I gave Tigger to my sister Jan for a birthday present and it was the best present I ever gave. Of course, on her birthday all she got was kitty litter, a pan, and food etc. She liked orange tigers with no white.I had to look all over the Dayton area and finally found one but it wouldn't be able to be picked up until two weeks after her birthday. So here they are in all their glory.

CAT2
Cat2 is my tortoise shell. She is the second one I've had. The first one was named but she only ever answered to Cat. In the spring of '84 while visiting Jan, my son and I went to the Aulwood Farm and a cat kept following us. I had always wanted another tortoise shell but hadn't found one until then(I didn't have enough pets at the time,1 cat,3 dogs, 2 rabbits,2 ducks, and 1 hamster lol).I prefer the darker ones,Cat2 is mostly black with a little orange and white. We went back the next day with a cat carrier and because she was a stray someone had dropped off she went back to Virginia with us. She was wild and it took a while to calm her down. She never lost some of the wildness and to this day one has to be careful how they pet her. She is definitely a one person cat. As she has gotten older she has slowed down. She can't jump or climb like she used to. When I went to move a ladder from under a window in the back hall I found out that she used it to get to the sill. The others just leap. I know how she feels!Cat2's Corner

Callie
Callie along with Tux and Peanut, Ray's rabbit, can be also be visited at the Pet Memorial.
Callie was the runt of the litter and the smallest kitten I've ever seen. She was eight the same as Pandora but only half as big. She had long legs and delicate bones. She was a lovely cat and yes she banked off walls, furniture, people or whatever was there. She was a great mouser. She found them even if you didn't think there were any about. Last summer Callie got out and got lost. She couldn't be found. Shana lives about two miles from me here in town. Six weeks later when we had given up hope, Callie appeared at my house. It was truely amazing.Pets Page 2
