Faithful to Kagome. Shippou is a young fox-demon or 'kitsune'. He's able to change his shape and create foxfire to aid his friends even though he's just a little boy. He can even create illusions to confuse his enemies. The poor kitsune always gets on Inuyasha’s bad side or causes trouble with him.
A Demon Exterminator who's family was killed by Naraku. Her weapon is a huge boomerang (guitar). Which she usually slaps Miroku in the head with when he’s being a perv again. Sango is also a very strong character and a good friend.
A type of cat-demon belonging to Sango. She is perhaps the oldest of the group, having been previously owned by a long dead miko. She transforms from a big cat.
This demon is Inuyasha's half-brother. His father was full-demon along with his mother. He pretty much treats his little brother like crap and he only wants him for his sword. Since Sessy is full-demon he is unable to hold the Tetsusaiga because of a special incantation on it he can't weild it. Sesshoumaru also has his own sword, the Tenseiga but he can't use that either! He can only use it if he holds compasion for humans. . . like that will ever happen. But a young girl named Rin shows him the good side in humans. His sword heals people while Inuyasha's destroys people.
