The White Rock Renegades advanced along the playoff trail with a convincing 5 - 0 win against Les Rebelles.  Ani Nyhus and Megan MacKenzie combined for the first no-hitter during the championship.  The Renegades scored early with a run in the 1st inning and added another run in the 3rd on Colleen Elden's single.  Tamra Howren's towering home run and Elden's RBI single in the 5th gave White Rock a 4 - 0 lead.  Jen Binnie contributed 2 singles to the White Rock attack.  The Renegades will meet the Whitby Eagles at 2:00 p. m. today.

Crystal Hankel allowed three hits and one walk as she helped Calgary shut down Saskatoon 4 - 0 in today's second single-life playoff game.  The Renegades opened the scoring with two runs in the third inning when Sheena Lawrick and Lauren Peterson scored from 3rd base on wild pitches.  Calgary scored another two runs in the 4th inning to safely put the game away.  Lauren Peterson, Meagan Cronin and Heather Freeman contributed two hits apiece to pace the Renegade attack.  Calgary will meet the Brampton Blazers at 4:00 p. m. today in another single-life playoff game.

The White Rock Renegades will advance to play the winner of Brampton and Calgary after edging Whitby by a score of 2 - 1.  Dani Damel picked up the win and Megan MacKenzie the save as the Eagles were limited to three hits.  Catcher Tamra Howren scored Ali Caviglia on a two out double in the first inning.  Designated player Karlene Louden scored the winning run for White Rock on an inside the park home run in the second inning when outfielders Jenille Edwards and Rachel Schill collided.  White Rock scored their run in the fifth inning when Erin Fraser scored on Alana DaSilva's bunt.  Howren, with two doubles, was the only player to record two hits for either team.  Holly Harris gave up only four hits and two earned runs in a losing cause.
