A play off tie breaker is still possible for Sherwood Park as the Belles edged the Westman Magic 4 - 3.  The Belles opened the scoring with two runs in the 4th inning on a two - RBI double by Tammy Dubinsky.  The Magic replied with three runs in the top half of the 6th as the Belles committed four errors.  Consecutive triples by Dubinsky and Heather Wellman and a sacrifice fly by Kelsey Charuk gave Sherwood Park two runs to complete the comeback win.  Dubinsky with three hits and two  RBI, and Wellman and Cindy Mohr with two hits each led the offensive attack for Sherwood Park.  Ashley Reed gave up six hits and no earned runs to pick up the pitching win.

This Red Pool Feature Game saw the Renegades of Calgary start quickly with four runs in the 1st inning on their way to a decisive 7 - 0 win over Oakville.  With the win, Calgary has guaranteed themselves at least a tie breaker for a single life in the play offs.  Crystal Hankel gave up two hits over five innings to register the pitching win.  Megan Stastook had two hits including a two - RBI double in the 1st.  Sheena Lawrick and Shannon Teare contributed two hits each.

The Panthers of Regina kept their faint play off hopes alive with a 6 - 2 win over the Central Region Hawks.  Chelsea Huber went the distance giving up eight hits and no walks to record the victory.  Jody Wolbaum led the offensive charge with a home run, a triple and three RBI.  Chelsea Huber had three base hits and Harmony McMillan had two hits for Regina.  Central Region Hawks were led by Brigitte Girouard with three hits and Katy Van Deveire with two hits.

Whitby Eagles won their 4th game in a row, a 2 - 0 win over White Rock, to secure two lives in the play offs.  Marlee Johnson retired the final 13 batters, giving up just three hits and no walks to record the win for the Eagles.  Whitby opened the scoring with one run in the 1st inning when Holly Harris's single scored centre fielder Rachel Schill.  Pinch hitter Erica Elijah's bloop single brought in Jenille Edwards and provided Whitby with an insurance run.  White Rock now needs a win against Sherwood Park to guarantee at least a tie breaker for a playoff single life.

Les Rebelles are assured of at least a tie breaker for a double life after their 3 - 0 win over the Richmond Islanders.  Jennifer Boily retired the 1st fourteen batters she faced and gave up just two hits and no walks to pick up the pitching win.  Quebec was led offensively by Angie Belmonte with three hits and Noemie Marin with two hits.  Evelyne Pare had two hits as well, including a key triple in the fifth inning.  Richmond Islanders play off hopes now hinge upon whether Calgary Double Diamond Renegades beat the Central Region Hawks tonight at 6:00 pm.
