No News is Good
News! Letterboxing in the media There are those who would have you believe that any news about letterboxing is inherently dangerous to the "underground" nature of the hobby. Contradicting them are those who would have you believe that letterboxing benefits from the fresh influx of new participants. Standing in between these parties are those who straddle the fence, so to speak... those who are naturally wary of the media's effects on letterboxing but understand that the opportunity to properly educate the masses is ultimately beneficial. The creators of LbSe Web prefer to straddle the fence — since this site is here to provide publicity and education. The following is a collection — by no means complete — of articles written about letterboxing. You have a choice as to how you view the articles. PDF is the recommended choice, as some of the articles have been professionally reset, you don't have to worry about fonts going wacky on you or missing images, and the software you need, Adobe Reader (click to acquire), is free. HTML will take you to the original web page, if it's still available.
If you know of an article that you don't see here: email a link, a file, or a message if all you have is a printed clipping.
* Site requires registration to view online articles. Might be free, might cost you. Notice: The articles above, when presented in PDF or Word format, have been formatted to fit the page. No editing has been done on the content. LBSEWeb is not responsible for errors in names, places, dates, etc., for revealing stamp images, letterbox locations, etc., or for unproven claims.
