    has stared in Eight series on the Tele. 
          His excellent stage credits are awesome!!!
          His most trying acting stint was in a play called - Bouncers. That he acted in during his  hiatus away from the TV show, The New Adventures of Robin Hood. This was said to be a very physical role. But Richard has never been one to shurk from anything physical. 
          Indeed, he performed some of his own stunts on the show, and has become very  accomplished with the quarterstaff. 
     

          But the thing that is so appealing about the man, is his gentleness, that comes across in his acting. It's very genuine,  you just know its Richard. Thank you Mr Ashton,  for your wonderful portrayal of Little John. May the scripts pile up in your house, and may your phone be tied up with calls from producers. In other words, WE WANT TO SEE MORE OF YOU!!!  (Was that being to pushy?)
