Run into some goblins and slaughter them. Caradryan is on a healing roll and that’s the only reason I let him anywhere near me. Thank Myrmydia he’s successful again in his attempts. Otherwise, I’d have had to hurt him.

Caradryan heals Jezeg. He’s really gotten a lot better at this healing thing.

Caradryan heals me again.

Caradryan heals Nivak this time.
Day 568 (the next day)
Attacked by 2 harpies. One of them claws Caradryan’s face before they get away.
Day 570 (2 days later)
Caradryan heals Jezeg again.
Day 574 (4 days later)
Run into some more mutants and we kill them all. Caradryan heals Ilmarian.

Day 584 (10 days later)
We’re out of the mountains now. And it’s only taken us 24 days! We ran out of food about a week ago, so Nadon’s been hunting and Caradryan’s been foraging for us. We’re about 3 days out from town (Goldum) and we’ve come across a band of humans - Caradryan negotiates safe passage for 25 Gold.
Records: Nadon = killed 1 deer at 200 yards.
Day 587 (3 days later)
Arrive in Goldum! We return the jeweled amulet to Halfor and get our 500 Gold. Halfor tells us to seek lodgings at the Oiled Blade and we get a great deal on 2 communal rooms for the next few weeks. Caradryan takes Varthlokkur to the hospital to get the wounds to his hip treated.

Day 603 (2 weeks later)
Varthlokkur has spent the last 2 weeks healing from his surgery and working at the Ulric Temple. Jezeg has spent his time at the Myrmydia Temple before training and advancing to Cleric. Nadon, Ilmarian, and I have done some training within our current careers. Caradryan trained and advances to Wizard’s Apprentice. We spend the last of our gold to identify our loot from the goblin cave.
Day 604 (1 day later)
Varthlokkur goes looking for a Troll Slayer to train with, but doesn’t find one.
Day 606 (2 days later)
He still hasn’t found one, but promises to reward any bartenders with a few gold pieces should they see any and send word to the Oiled Blade.
Day 607 (the next day)
Varthlokkur goes back to the Ulric Temple to work while he waits. A boy shows up at the inn saying that a Troll Slayer’s been spotted at this one tavern. Nadon and Ilmarian head over to the tavern to verify the information and almost get into an altercation with the dwarf. He isn’t quite so tolerant of elves as Varthlokkur is. They relay the information to Varthlokkur back at the Oiled Blade and he goes to ask if the dwarf will mentor him.
Day 608 (the next day)
Varthlokkur trains with a pit fighter at the Warrior’s Guild to prepare for his upcoming training with the Troll Slayer.
Day 610 (2 days later)
Varthlokkur shaves his head and creates a large black Mohawk with some foul-smelling stuff.
Day 612 (2 days later)
Varthlokkur advances to Troll Slayer.
