Day 802 - Day 861
Day 802  (6 days later)
We’ve come across another band of humans on guard duty.  It’s 10 Gold each for safe passage.  Oh well, what’s an adventuring party to do?

Day 805
(3 days later)
We’re back in Goldum.  Unfortunately that means that it’s time to untie Irene and wake her up.  It seems she’s learned her lesson and refrains from mouthing off while we cross town to Halfor’s residence.  Once Adam is rejoined with his daughter, she is all smiles and happiness.  I resist the urge to punch her.  Halfor sets us up with rooms at the Oiled Blade again and we make plans to settle in Goldum for the time being.

Records:
Lillay reclaims the High XP spot.

Day 808
(3 days later)
Nivak is certifiably insane.  He went off to his secret guild the other day and has just returned to regale us of his adventures – seems he met and talked extensively with these super intelligent aliens in the guise of common sewer mice.  No further comment is need here, I believe.

Day 810
(2 days later)
Nivak returns to his guild for training.

Day 817  (7 days later)
Varthlokkur received a note that his former Troll Slayer mentor is back in town.  He returns to him for additional training.

Day 845 (28 days later)
Varthlokkur returns and has now advanced to Giant Slayer.  Nivak returns from his training as an Outlaw Chief.  Nadon advances to Novice Archer.  Growlyn advances to Merc.  Caradryan learns a helpful new skill – he’s now able to identify whether or not an item is magical, only he can’t identify how an item is magical yet.  He’ll get there…eventually.

Day 846 (the next day)
Halfor is gracious enough to give us another job.  This time we are to journey to Remios in search of his friend, Nickolaus Strouhand.  Seems he has gotten himself into a bit of trouble.  Halfor can’t or won’t give us anything else to go on.  I’ve noticed that Halfor isn’t exactly a fountain of useful information when it comes to these jobs of his.  We all agree that the pay is excellent, so for now we will overlook these little details.

Day 847  (the next day)
Nivak has gained a following as an Outlaw Chief.  His two lackeys, Akban and Tom, will be joining our party.  Nadon also has addition to add:  his new wolf cub, Timber.  He really is quite adorable.  Growlyn wanted party money to purchase a holy symbol – he was denied.  For obvious reasons, really, he has only been with our party a short while and has yet to prove truly worthy of non-training money.

Day 851  (4 days later)
Attacked by a small goblin horde.  Victory is ours.

Day 858  (7 days later)
Mutants ambush us.
Battle Records:  Caradryan = 5 kills.  Nadon = 10 kills.  Lillay = 2 kills.  Ilmarian = 1 kill.  Nivak = 6 kills, collects 3 ears.  Jezeg = 2 kills.  Varthlokkur = 3 kills.  Growlyn = 5 kills.  Klaus = 0 kills.  Arvin = 1 kill.  Akban = 0 kills.  Tom = 1 kill.

Day 860  (2 days later)
We are entering into the Apuccini Mountains.  Ambushed by goblins and orcs on both sides and in front.  The enemy Shaman has it in for Caradryan and delivers a painful beating to my dear cousin.
Battle Records:  Jezeg = 7 kills.  Caradryan = 6 kills.  Nadon = 6 kills (including the Shaman), First Blood.  Lillay = 6 kills.  Nivak = 5 kills (including Orc Leader).
Varthlokkur = 4 kills.  Ilmarian = 3 kills.  Growlyn = 3 kills.  Klaus = 3 kills.  Arvin = 1 kill.  Tom = 1 kill.  Akban = 0 kills.

Day 861
(the next day)
We move onward.  One hour later:  We must halt our travel because Arvin’s condition has worsened.  Arvin’s wounds are quite beyond Caradryan’s skills, but he operates enough to remove the immediate threat of death that was upon him.  Caradryan announces that he is too injured to be moved at all.  We have no choice, but to make camp here for the next two weeks while Arvin recovers enough for travel.  The dwarfs and Nivak say to leave him, but they are out-voted.  Arvin has not been with us long, but that does not justify having a dishonorable death by our hands.
