The OP, Part IV (Remas)
+1 Day:  Nivak gets word from his barkeep contact that his "people" have left word for him.  Nivak's shady associates inform him that it is possible that Antonias was assassinated, but that they do not have any proof of that theory.  They say that if he was assassinated, it would have to have been by a highly-skilled, magic-using person.    We feel that we've come to a dead-end in the trail to the Orange Passion here in Remas.  As a near-last resort, Jezeg goes to the town watch to inform them of our mission.  We also discuss the seemingly strong possibility that the Orange Passion has departed from Remas and determine that Lucini is only a three-week departure from our original plan.  Jezeg goes to the Merchants Guild to inquire about the exportation practices of the local businesses in recent months.  A few hours later, Jezeg goes back and the clerk tells him that the list we found in The Vaults contained a large amount of wine by the name of Tulias Black.  Jezeg and Nivak (disguised as Jeb the Prospector) go to the winery that produces the Tulias Black variety.  They find nothing out of the ordinary.  That night:  Jezeg and Nivak take Caradryan (our wine connoisseur) to the winery just in case they missed any implications of foul-play during their earlier visit.  They pose as businessmen looking to start a wine trade between Remas and Plasota.  We split the rest of the party in two in order to patrol the area without arousing suspicion.  Our undercover group takes their leave of the winery and head back to the Wet Maiden...with some difficulty.  Jezeg comes back feeling amorous.  He offers to "rub my toes".  I suggest that he would find more willing company with Ilmarian.  Nivak woos the serving wench.  And Caradryan tries his luck with Amber, offering her a "private training session".  Caradryan attempts to do a jig with Amber and falls on his ass.
Notable Quotes:
"We're drinking essence of baby."  -Scott.  "You just twist the head off and pour it out."  -Shelmet.  "Oh, Uncle Boffo and his giant coins!"  -Nivak as Jeb the Prospector.

+1 Day:
Nivak wakes up next to Hillary, the serving wench, and makes plans to see her again tonight.  Jezeg and Caradryan take the bottle of Tulias Black to the two best alchemists and the Solken temple to analyze the properties of the liquid.
Notable Moment:
The newest gayest moment in the White Building:  Irwin sucking off Garth's massive banana.

+1 Day:
Nivak receives a message from his bar-keep contact.  Vladimir receives a written note from the Solken temple stating that they did not find anything wrong with the wine.  Nivak's underground contacts have information regarding the wine.  The regular purchasers of this local wine could not get their hands on enough of it in the beginning, however, now the demand is not nearly so great as the wine doesn't seem to have quite the same "zing" to it.

+1 Day:
We get the reports back from the alchemist shops -- they say there is nothing amiss with the wine.  Vladimir returns to the Solken temple to tell them of the sexual after-effects of the wine.  They agree that it sounds "fishy" upon hearing further tales of the Orange Passion's dealings in sexual deviancy and that 90% of the wine shipped to their military complex was of the Tulias Black label.  We reconvene at the Wet Maiden and discuss our next steps.  That night:  Nivak disguises himself and takes Pietro to the winery to see if they can discover any connection to the Orange Passion through illegal means.  Our "Men About Town" return to the inn and report that they weren't able to search as thoroughly as they would have liked due to a locked door.

+1 Day:  That night:  Caradryan goes with Nivak and Pietro this night in order to use his "Open" spell on that damned locked door.  Caradryan performs his one duty and leaves the scene of the crime.  Pietro comes back to the inn and tells us that they ran into two guards in the winery and he left per Nivak's orders.  He also tells us that he heard a ruckus from the town watch as they gave chase to someone, presumably Nivak.  Vlad takes a late-night stroll past the winery and it appears that nothing remiss happened here tonight.  We decide that presenting ourselves to the town watch immediately after Nivak's supposed arrest would be drawing undue bad attention to the rest of us.  We decide to wait until tomorrow afternoon to make our inquiries.
Notable Quotes:  "Years of prospecting has taught me to be nimble and quick!"  -Nivak as Jeb the Prospector.    -Nivak as Jeb the Prospector.  "I smell pretty."  -Nivak as Jeb the Prospector.  "All I did was breaking and entering...oh, wait, no...I murdered two people."  -Irwin.

+1 Day:  That afternoon:  Hern and Lars take a bag of coin from Caradryan and go to the constablery to inquire about their old, drunkard Uncle Jeb who's gone missing.  Nivak returns to the Wet Maiden...without Hern and Lars.  He tells his tale of being busted by the town watch and then released after coming clean.  Nivak goes back to the town watch to spring Hern and Lars from the clutches of Publius.
Notable Quotes:  "I was a prospector!  I don't do much prospecting anymore what with my wine consumption schedule."  -Nivak as Jeb the Prospector.  "Well...Old Jeb has a terrible skin condition."  -Nivak as his disguise of Jeb the Prospector is washed away with a bucket of water.
