Who Am I?


Liz Gober came to FEMA as the Chief of Employee Development in July of 2001 after serving as the Director of Distance Learning and Technology for the Marine Corps Institute. She has served as an Employee Development Specialist for the Department of the Army, Department of Defense Dependents Schools, Defense Information Systems Agency, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington Headquarters Services. As an Instructional Systems Design Specialist for the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School, she served as the Chief of Officer and Noncommissioned Training and Development. Mrs. Gober retired from the Army Reserve in 1994. For six years during her military service, she served as an instructor for the Army Command and General Staff Officer Course. Mrs. Gober holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Temple University and a Master's degree in Counseling from Ball State University.
