>>> WHY DO I LIKE BTVS? Well, that's a tough question... There are so many reasons why I like it... Let's start at the beginning... I started watching BtVS in November 2001. I read a lot about Buffy in magazins, and I was gettin kinda curious 'cause I never watched it before. So I watched it once, twice... and I really liked it. The first episode I saw, was The Freshman, the season 4 premier. I saw 9 episodes when suddenly V8 (Dutch channel) stopped broadcasting BtVS. I was furious! But one week later I found out that Net5 (other dutch channel :P) was going to broadcast reruns from the first five seasons. Every day a "new" episode (or at least an episode I didn't see before)! Well, that was when I got addicted ;) In Septembre 2002 they started broadcasting season 6 and in April 2003 the seventh season. Now (Septembre 2003) I'm waiting for Net5 to broadcast the rest of season 7 (I've seen it up to Sleeper)... And when Buffy has finished, I will still have Angel to watch :) At first I thought BtVS was a horror series. But soon I found out it's more like a comedy series :D The show has great writers, and they combine action, horror, comedy and drama. Mostly I laugh, but sometimes I also cry during BtVS. Becoming part 2, The Gift, Villians and Grave were soooo beautiful *cry*... Another reason why I like BtVS is because of James Marsters :) He's such a great actor, and looks soooo hot *drool*... Also the other actor/actresses on BtVS are great! My (female) favourite is Alyson Hannigan. She plays Willow, a shy-but-cute computer-geek. In season 3 she played a vampire for two episodes and she was just hilarious!! I think she can play almost everything! -- MORE TO COME -- |
