If a hacker does not have your ip then he can't even try to hack into your computer. To configure a proxy server go to the homepage and click on apps. Download MultiProxy when it asks you for a proxy server to use do not use then ones from their website they are out of date so go to http://www.atomintersoft.com/products/alive-proxy/proxy-list/ and choose a proxy MultiProxy will tell you if its fast or not so keep searching and remember to have a backup proxy.
