The holidays are a time to spend with those closest to us. Family and friends gather near to spread the holiday cheer, and wish us well for a prosperous new year. This is the season of perpetual hope, a time to look at things in a new light. Realize that miracles do happen, and each one of us is proof of that. As this year comes to an end, remember that someone, not so far away, is thinking of you and wishing you the very best this holiday season. It has been my great pleasure to spend time with you this year, sharing our stories, laughing at ourselves, and sometimes comforting each other when the world turned cold and bitter. Cherish this time spent with loved ones and hold on to the hope of the new year.

I'm sending out my Christmas cards
And wrapping all my gifts
When suddenly I think of you
And began to write you this
"Dear Friend,
Although I've never met you
There's something you should know
I'll think of you this Christmas
And the friendship you have shown
You've given me a special gift
That I won't soon forget
You've been there when I needed you
Right on my TV set
When my family finally gets here
And we gather 'round the tree
I'll think of the time that we first met
And how nice you were to me
When I'm opening my presents
I'll lol and smile
Remembering that gif you sent me
I was rolling on the tile
When I'm snuggling by the fireplace
And having some cocoa
I'll remember the blankie's you gave me
When I said that I was cold
When we have our Christmas dinner
I'll think of you and giggle
At all the food you talk about
You must eat like a pig
When I lift my glass to make a toast
I'll toast to you as well
And think of the night that you got drunk
And forgot how to spell
When everybody starts to leave
I'll remember that one night
Noone else was in the room
We formed a bond so tight
When the merriment is over
I'll hop on here to see
If everything went well for you
And hope you thought of me
As I take down all the decorations
I'll leave a bow or two
To remind me of each Holiday
I got to spend with you"
