       Garden Facial Mask
The carrot is the featured ingredient of this recipe. Carrots are high in vitamin A (beta-carotene) very important for healthy skin. Grated carrots hydrate the skin.
1/4 cup grated carrots
1 1/2 teaspoons mayonnaise(i make my own. recipe below
Mix together & apply to face. Leave on 15 minutes. Rinse

             Oatmeal Cookie Bath
This is a fun one that smells wonderful (might make you hungry, though) Oatmeal is excellent for dry and/or itchy skin.
1 cup oatmeal
l cup warm water
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup baking soda.
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until you have a smooth paste. Pour oaste under running water in bath tub. Enjoy!
                Beauty Mayo
1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

In blender mix 1/4 cup oil, salt & egg. With the blender on slowly add 1/2 cup more of the oil. Add the vinegar ,then the rest of the oil. Blend on high until creamy. Store in fridge. This is a great beauty mayo & a not too bad salad dressing.

                Facial Scrub
Here is another really easy one.
              Combine:
2 parts oatmeal
2 parts ground almonds(almond meal)
1 part cornmeal

Just add  warm water to about a tablespoon of mix & scrub. You can grind your own almonds with an electric coffee grinder.
        Comfrey Bath
This is great for sore aching muscles,sprains & makes your skin feel really smooth & nice.
2 tablespoons fresh comfrey(leaf or root)
or 1 tablespoon dried
2 cups boiling water
Pour boiling water over comfrey & steep, covered for 20 minutes to 4 hours.
Strain & pour liquid into bath water. Relax for 10 to 20 minutes.
