An Evening Jewel is an original watercolour painting created spontaneously in an evening. A Jewel of a flower emerged. This painting won 1st prize for beginners at the Rideau Valley Art Festival in Westport, Ontario in 1990.

 

 

Elisha is an original watercolour painting created spontaneously. After the application of the first five strokes Elisha appeared! With the addition of her legs, tall weeds, the bitter snow and the warm sun, the painting was complete. In the fall of 1997 a Chiliean flamingo named Elisha was discovered in Shirley's Bay in Nepean Ontario Canada. She had flown off course and was lost. Many people feared that she might not survive and might die in the freezing waters.With helping hands she was captured and returned to her home in Connecticut, USA.

 

 

Monarch is an original watercolour painting created spontaneously. This great creature flies through the air. This painting won Honourable Mention in 1992 at the Nepean Fine Arts League Members Show.
