The Bombers' Notebook is definately the most involved sidequest in Majora's Mask. From the time you get the notebook until you're helping the last person out, filling out the Bombers' Notebook is no easy task. This section is designed to help you with that task, as well as inform you of the rewards you get from people, the times that you have to help them, and what you must do to help them. Let me know what you think of this section, and I'll see what I can do to improve it.
Bombers' Notebook - After you've turned back into Link, talk to Jim, the Bomber trying to pop the balloon with a picture of Majora's Mask on it. Play his hide-and-go-seek game. If you win, you'll be made an official member of the Bombers', you will recieve the Bombers' Notebook, and the first entry will already be filled out.
??? - First, make sure you have a title deed or letter. To help this person out, be in the the Stock Pot Inn from 12:00p.m. - 6:00a.m. (either get the room key, or use the Deku Flower outside to reach the entrance on the roof). Go to the bathroom on the first floor, and talk to the hand reaching out of the toilet. Give it the letter or title deed that you have to recieve a Heart Container Piece.
Guru-Guru - Go to the Laundry Pool on Day 1 or 2 from 6:00p.m. - 6:00a.m. As Link, talk to him and listen to his confession. Your reward is the Bremen Mask.
Grog - After you've recieved the Poweder Keg, go to Romani Ranch. Grog can be found at the Cucco Shack from 6:00a.m. - 8:00p.m. Use the Bremen Mask and get all the chicks to follow you by marching near them. When you finally do, they will grow into cuccos, and Grog will be so happy that he'll give you the Bunny Hood.
Kamaro - Look for Kamaro in Termina Field from 12:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. He will be on a mushroom-shaped rock near the mountains, dancing inside a circle of stones. To help this poor guy out, play the Song of Healing for him. He will teach you his moves and give you Kamaro's Mask.
Rosa Sisters - The Rosa Sisters are in West Clock Town from 6:00p.m. - 6:00a.m. They are trying to think of a dance to do at the carnival, but haven't come up with anything good. With Kamaro's Mask on, stand in front of them, and teach them some new dance moves. You will get a Heart Container Piece for your troubles.
Romani - Enter Romani Ranch on Day 1. Talk to Romani from 6:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. to find out that ghosts (that actually seem to be aliens) are invading the ranch from 2:30a.m. - 6:00a.m. to steal the cows. That morning, the ghosts (aliens) will appear and it's your job to keep them away. If you are successful, Romani will give you a bottle of milk, and you will have access to Epona.
Cremia - Cremia, the older of the two sisters at Romani Ranch seems to be having a bit of a problem getting milk from the ranch to Clock Town. During the same three day cycle as your helping Romani (you must be successful), talk to Cremia at 6:00p.m. She will attempt to take some milk to Clock Town, but bandits (actually the Gormon Brothers in disguise) chase after her and try to steal it. Keep them away by shooting arrows at them. If you are successful, she will reward you with the Romani's Mask (and sometimes, a nice, big hug).
Gorman Bros. - After you've gotten Epona, pay a visit to the Gorman Bros. From 6:00a.m. - 6:00p.m., while sitting on Epona, talk to the brothers, and race them. If you can beat both of them at the race, you'll be rewarded with Garo's Mask.
Shiro - This poor soldier is easy to miss; he's invisible. At any time on any day, look around about halfway between Ikana Canyon and Ikana Graveyard, using the Lens of Truth. Shiro can be found sitting in a circle of stones, wondering why everyone who walks by ignores him. If you happen to have a red or blue potion that you're not planning to use anytime soon, give it to him. In return, he'll give you the Stone Mask.
Old Lady from Bomb Shop - To help the poor, old, defenseless lady from the Bomb Shop, go to North Clock Town at 12:30a.m. on Day 1. At this time, Sakon the thief will try to rob the old lady. To stop him, chase after him, swinging at him with your sword. If you are successful, he will drop the old lady's bag, and run out of town. The old lady will be pleased with what you've done, and will reward you with the Blast Mask.
Man from Curiosity Shop - After you've helped the old lady get her bag back, wait until Day 3. After 10:00p.m., the All-Night Mask will appear at the Curiosity Shop. The only problem is it's 500 Rupees, so you'll need the Giant Wallet. If you have it, and 500 Rupees, buy the mask, and help the guy out. But wait! You're not done yet! If you want to, be at the Curiosity Shop on Day 2 from 12:00a.m. - 1:00a.m. to eavesdrop on a conversation between the Curiosity Shop owner and Sakon. On Day 3, from 1:00p.m. - 10:00p.m., enter the Curiosity Shop from the Laundry Pool, but only if you're doing Anju and Kafei's sequence. He will give you the Keaton Mask, and more importantly, the letter from Kafei to his mom, which is essential to complete both Madame Aroma and the postman's sequences.
Anju's Grandmother - After you've recieved the All-Night Mask from the Curiosity Shop, go back to Day 1 (or 2). From 8:00a.m. - 6:00p.m., put on the All-Night Mask, and visit the Stock Pot Inn in East Clock Town. In one of the rooms on the first floor, you'll find Anju's Grandmother sitting in a wheelchair. She may be a bit confused, but talk to her, and let her read you a story. By wearing the All-Night Mask, you will stay awake through the whole thing, and she'll give you a Heart Conatiner Piece. After that, let her read you the other story. With the aid of your new mask, you'll be able to stay awake, get another Heart Container Piece, and fill out the old lady's entry.
Toto - To help Toto, you must have the Deku, Goron, and Zora masks. On Day 1 or 2, enter the Milk Bar in East Clock Town from 10:00p.m. - 6:00a.m. Talk to Toto (the Zora), and agree to help him with his sound check. Assuming the forms of four different creatures, stand under different spotlights, and play the notes he tells you to play. When all four instruments have been played simultaneously, you will have pleased him so much, that his notebook entry will be filled.
Gorman - Gorman, the Gorman brother who chose to leave the ranch in pursuit of a more musical career will be helped at the exact same time as Toto. The soundcheck will hit a special spot inside him, and make him cry. He'll be so happy (or sad), that you'll recieve the Circus Leader's Mask from him.
Madame Aroma - On Day 1 or 2, talk to Madame Aroma from 8:00a.m. - 10:00p.m. to get Kafei's Mask. You can only finish helping her on Day 3 from 6:00p.m. - 6:00a.m. She can be found at the Milk Bar, and can only be helped once you have the letter from Kafei, which you can only get from the Man from the Curiosity Shop on Day 3. Deliver it to her. She'll be so happy that you've found her son, that not only will you be finished helping her out, but she'll also give you a bottle containing Chateau Romani, a drink that gives you unlimited magic.
Anju - Get ready for the longest trading sequence in the game. After you've gotten Kafei's Mask, be in the Stock Pot Inn on Day 1 from 1:50p.m. - 4:10p.m. Talk to Anju, and she will mistakenly give you a key that was meant for a Goron with the name of your file, but ending with "goro". The Goron will have to find somewhere else to sleep, but now you can enter the Stock Pot Inn after the doors are locked. Alternatively, if you're too late to get the key, you can use the Deku Flower outside to enter from the second floor. That door is never locked. Later on Day 1, at about 4:00p.m., the postman will arrive. He will have a conversation with Anju (which you can listen to if you like). After he leaves, put on Kafei's Mask, and talk to Anju. You can only talk to her until about 8:00p.m., but when you do, she'll ask you to meet her in the kitchen at 11:30p.m. that night. You only have until 6:00a.m., but you should talk to her as soon as you can (as in 11:30p.m.). She will give you a letter, and you have to mail it. Simply go to any mailbox, and put it in. In the morning, the postman will come around and check every mailbox. He delivers it to Kafei from 3:30p.m. - 3:40p.m. You don't have to be there to see it, but later at 4:15p.m., but door that is usually locked in the Laundry Pool will unlock. Go inside and talk to Kafei. He will tell you a story about why he ran away, and ask you to deliver a pendant to Anju. You have from 5:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. on Day 2, or from 6:00p.m. - 12:00p.m. on Day 3 to deliver it, but it is almost impossible to complete her sequence if you don't deliver it on Day 2. After you've completed Kafei's sequence, go to the employees-only room in the Stock Pot Inn from 6:00p.m. - 6:00a.m. on Day 3 to find Anju sitting there. You'll have to wait until morning to find out what happens next.
Kafei - After recieving the letter from Anju, go to the Laundry Pool on Day 2. From 4:15p.m. - 10:00p.m. the door will be unlocked, providing safe and easy access inside. Talk to Kafei, and he will give you a pendant to give to Anju as a symbol of their love. After you've done that, head off to Ikana Valley on Day 3. Go all the way right to where Sakon's Hideout is to find Kafei hiding. Although you have to be there from 6:00p.m. - 7:00p.m., it is a good idea to be there earlier, because if Sakon sees you, you have to do the whole thing all over again. Hide behind the rocks where Kafei is, and wait for Sakon to open the door at 7:00p.m. Quickly sneak inside. Kafei will see his wedding mask which Sakon stole on a conveyer belt. Kafei will ask you to step on a switch. Since there's no time to lose, it's best you do it ASAP. You will now be in control of Kafei. Go through the door, and push a block onto the switch. You will now be playing as Link. Go through the door, and defeat the Deku Baba. You will now be playing as Kafei. Walk into the next room, go around all the switches (yellow ones give you more time, red ones give you less time), and step on the blue one in the bottom right corner. You will now be playing as Link. In the next room, you will have to fight two Deku Babas. Once you defeat them you will be playing as Kafei. Go to the next room. Push the block farthest left down. Step on the yellow switch, and pull the block onto it. Push the middle block (that the second block was blocking) down onto the blue switch. You now have control of Link again. Defeat the Wolfos in the next room. As Kafei, walk over to the block in front of the door, and push it out of the way. In the next room, step on both of the switches. You will be find the Sun's Mask. You can't keep it, because it is the "wedding ring" of Kafei and Anju (well, half of it, anyway). Go back to East Clock Town, to the Stock Pot Inn, to the employees-only room. From 6:00p.m. - 6:00a.m. on Day 3 (until the end of the world), Anju will be there, but Kafei will only arrive at about 5:00a.m. If you're there to witness their reunion, you will get the couple's mask. Since you barely have any time left, and it's a real pain doing that again, warp back in time.
Postman - Anju and Kafei's sequence seems almost for nothing, as you have to do most of it all over again to help the postman. While waiting, you can play the postman's timing game from 3:00p.m. - 12:00a.m. on Day 1 and 2 at the Post Office in West Clock Town to win a Heart Container Piece. It seems difficult, but if you get the Bunny Hood first, this game becomes almost no problem, as you can see the clock. Talk to the Man from the Curiosity Shop on Day 3 from 1:00p.m. - 10:00p.m., and the go visit the postman at the Post Office from 6:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. There you'll find the postman. Give him the letter, and he'll deliver it for you. After he's done that, he will stand outside the Milk Bar. Talk to him. He will be so happy that he's free, he'll give you the Postman's Hat. Put it on to check mailboxes.
Mr. Dotour - Finally, it's nice and easy to help someone out. After you've recieved the Couple's Mask from Anju and Kafei's long sequence, you can help the mayor of Clock Town out. He can be found where else but the Mayor's Residence in East Clock Town. Visit him from 10:00a.m. - 8:00p.m. on Day 1 or 2, or from 10:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. on Day 3. For some reason, the Couple's Mask is needed. Wear it, and enter the mayor's office. You will help him to solve the long, boring and ongoing debate on whether or not to have the Carnival of Time. Ultimately, he will decide to have it, and he will give you a Heart Container Piece as a reward.
