Why?
Why do I desire to share myself with you?
You're shown a hint of interest,
And I'd be a fool not to see.
We understand eachother's point of view.
The heart is driven by a cold wind.
I can see the neon lights.
Scared to give in, but afraid to hold back.
It's hard to determine the feelings within.
I speak in cautious tones, gently.
I do not want to scare you away.
I would hate to let myself go,
Yet there's nothing more I want to see.
I sense that I can put my trust in you.
My head says to wait out the tide.
But the head would be worthless without a heart.
A heart that I long to give to you.
