Doug McClure at an autograph session at Apacheland Movie Ranch, in 1967.  (Another of my famous blurred/grainy snapshots.)  It's a color pic, but you'd hardly think so.  The day had turned cloudy and cool by the time the session began This was as close as I ever came to meeting Doug.  (He was there with Bob Fuller, who is seated beyond him -- I had to have my priorities, y'know....)  I saw him a couple of other times, as well.  I'd have to say that he always looked like he was enjoying himself, no matter how busy it was.  No matter how much fans pestered him, he seemed happy to oblige them.  He had a very quick wit.
