One aspect of the old TV Westerns that clings in my memory:  Their theme songs.*  They were usually songs you could sing or whistle....  When I hear one of those themes today, or when one happens to come spilling out of my mental juke box, I get the same little spurt of pleasure I felt when I heard them originally.

*Some of the lyrics you'll find, if you follow the links above, came from my own memory, some from other Web sites, and some from a book that was put out by Revue Studios years ago.  Where the series dates are concerned, those came from other places on the Web and I don't guarantee their accuracy.  Some shows had extensive lists of regular performers.  I've just given what I think of as the main stars of the show.
