War Dog Books
By: John C. Burnam
Wow.  This book is wonderful!  I now know more about War Dogs, their handlers, and the Vietnam Conflict in general.  Wow.
No one really knows what it was like in Vietnam except for the people who were there.  After reading this book, I know what they went through for our country.  Vietnam veterans do not get much recognition for what they did.  They DESERVE recognition and this book helps us see that.
John Burnam was 19 when he went off to Vietnam, as were many other Vietnam vets.  You can imagine how scary that would be.  Thrown into a strange land that's fighting.  This book accurately describes the life of a Vietnam soldier and War Dog handler.
This is one of the BEST War Dog books out there.  It is informative, well-written, and easy to read.  It is hard to put down and will bring tears to your eyes.
If you love dogs, love war books, want to learn more about the Vietnam Conflict, love history, or are just interested in learning more about War Dogs, I highly recommend this book.  I give it **** (out of 4).

None Came Home:  The War Dogs of Vietnam
By: Paul B. Morgan
This is a very good and informative book.  But this man's war dog story is slightly different than most.  His dog was given to him by a Vietnamese man.
It is also not just about the Vietnam War Dogs.  It also discusses K-9 Cops.
It is a very good book though and worth a read.  I give it *** (out of 4)..
