Welcome, so nice to see you.
You have been visiting everyone all over the Wood.  Thats very nice, we are always pleased to see new people and old friends as well.

You were asking me, to tell you a little bit about myself.  Of course, I will tell you.

Well I am really very small, pink and a pig.  I wear a lovely green shirt that has stripes.

I live, like all the others, you have met and are going to meet, here in the 100 Aker Wood, in a 'very grand house' in the middle of a Beech tree in the middle of the Wood.

Now you might ask about the broken board that you saw outside the house that reads
"Trespassers W".  Christopher Robin was asking the same and I told him about my grandfather having two names, in case he lost one.....Trespasser after and uncle and William after Trespassers.

The board had broken and all that remains is what you see now.

I love lots and lots of things, my best friend is Pooh, we have had lots of adventures together.

We have been Woozle hunting, now that was a great time - I went with Pooh when he discovered the North Pole, now that was a special time.  You know that Christopher Robin Knighted Pooh.

Talking of Christopher Robin, you know that I just love to spend Tuesdays at his house.

I love to eat haycorns, and you want to know something, when I get nervous my ears twitch...they are twitching now, as I am a little nervous with you here.  I actually said "oh dear! oh dear, oh, dearie, dearie, dear" when I first saw you.  It is something that I say a lot.  I also say something every morning, perhaps its something you might like to say "I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?"
Do you like bright colored balloons?  I love them and I love to blow dandelions, have you ever tried that...it is great fun, you pick one and you just gently blow on it, and watch as it scatters on the wind.....

Somebody said to me that I say these things too.....

"W-w-what was that Pooh'
                                                                         "Oh dear, mercy me too"
                                                                         "Help P-p-piglet, me"
You know there was a time I was surrounded by water, because it had rained and rained for days and days.  I was stranded in my tree, and I had to write a note......I will let Mr Milne tell you a little about it.

From Chapter Nine:  Winnie-the-Pooh
In which Piglet is entirley surrounded by water.

...........Then suddenly he remembered a story which Christpher Robin had told him about a man on a desert island who had written something in a bottle and thrown it into the sea; and Piglet thought that if he wrote something in a bottle and threw it in the water, perhaps somebody would come and rescue him!

He left the window and began to search the house, all of it that wasn't under water, and at last he found a pencil and a small piece of dry paper, and a bottle with a cork to it.  And he wrote on one side of the paper:
                                                                                               HELP
                                                                                         PIGLET (ME)
and on the other side:
                                                                            IT'S ME PIGLET, HELP HELP!

The he put the paper into the bottle, and he corked the bottle up as tightly as he could, and he leant out his window as far as he could lean without falling in, and he threw the bottle as far as he could throw - splash - and in a little while it bobbed up again on the water; and he watched it floating slowly away in the distance..........

"So now," he thought, "somebody else will have to do something, and I hope they will do it soon, because if they don't I shall have to swim, which I can't so I hope they do it soon."  And then he gave a very long sigh and said, "I wish Pooh were here.  It's so much friendly with two."

So you see I have had some adventures ------  well, I think I am going to see if anyone is about to have an adventure with.  Perhaps I might even find a dandelion or two.  Please come and join me and the others.  We have lots of things to do, and Woo is somewhere with something for you.
Thanks for calling, please call again.
