Maybe it's the impolite rumble of the specially tuned 260-HP LT1 engine. Or the totally indiscreet 17-inch BFGoodrich Comp T/As on custom-designed 5-spoke aluminum wheels. Or the conspicuous lack of chrome. Or the fact that you have just three color choices: black, black, or black.

Whatever it is about the new Impala SS, before you even think about buying one, we feel we owe you a few friendly words of advise: this is not a car for those who prefer to arrive unnoticed.

The very nameplate evokes images of bold Chevrolet style and V8 power. Now a new-generation Super Sport is making the legend even stronger. The full-size Impala SS Sedan is ready to wow enthusiasts with its LT1 V8 engine, tuned suspension, leather-trimmed interior and attention grabbing monotone style. Of course, ABS, dual air bags, and four wheel disc brakes are included.
