The River Thames

Lucy's first stop is on the banks of the River Thames and, naturally being England, it begins to rain. Tony produces an inflatable raft and advises Lucy that they are going punting on the Thames. They begin sailing along as Lucy sings:                                         "Row, Row, Row, Your Boat,                                           La, La, La, La, La La, La..." Within a few minutes they hear a starter's pistol, turn around and see that there is a boat race heading straight for them. They desperately try to get away but the boats collide, the raft punctures and they end up in the river. It is said that Lucy refused to film this part in a pool or to have a stand-in take her place.  That's actually Lucy herself we see in the Thames! With the high pollution levels in the Thames at this time, it was a very brave decision, Lucille could have caught any number of illnesses! Next, Lucy was off to Kings Road, Chelsea to buy some dry clothes.
