FREDERICK JAMES STEVENS

He died of heart problems on 2 April 2000 - Age 57 - at Prince Charles hospital in Brisbane.
RIP brother.
A few words from Fred's funeral service

"Everyone here has the capacity for remembrance. By the miracle of memory it is possible for us to bring the past with all its colour, incident and shared experience, along with us.

Because you can remember Fred so well, your relationship to him will continue. But it will be changed from one of sight and touch, to one of remembrance.

I believe the memory will be kind to you. It will serve you well. Precious moments will re-occur for you again and again. For this reason Fred will still be yours; he will not be absent from you. You will take him with you wherever you are"
