About Ireland –

Remember how Mom said that Patrick had that castle built for me and that I thought he was crazy for doing it?  I just remembered that when Mom said that my reaction was something akin to -
“Why this is ridiculous!  Why you’re a foolish man indeed!”I could hear myself saying that in an Irish accent. Lol!  I had forgotten all about that.

Annabelle and Ireland:

Oh boy…. I have another coincidence for you.  “You’ve Got Mail” is on tv, so I decided to take off my makeup and then go downstairs to make a bowl of ice cream that I can eat while watching the movie. Well, on my way downstairs I heard Tom Hank’s character shout,
“Hello, Annabelle!” Lol!

Now, if I hear that name again soon… then I'll KNOW that that was my name.

Also, I receive a lot of spam e-mail but today one of them was an
“Experience Ireland” email. Lol!  That’s the first time I’ve ever received that one.

And this might be nothing, but a couple weeks ago I couldn’t sleep.  I just wasn’t tired and so I got hooked on watching “Far and Away,” which I’d never seen before.  (I missed the beginning of the movie).  I stayed up until like 2 am to watch that movie… set in Ireland by the way.
Roosters?!

By the way, when I was looking for something to get your mom to include in the package, I came across these plates that you hang on the wall and they had roosters on them. (I wasn't thinking of getting them for your mom- I just happened to see them) and they caught my attention because I was also looking for something to put on a bare spot in my kitchen and so I decided that I absolutely loved those plates so I bought 2 of them. Well when I got home I realized that I hate roosters. lol. So  now I have 2 plates hanging on the wall with roosters on them. Anyhow, the point of this is that I later thought that maybe your mom likes roosters and that's why I felt compelled to buy them? I don't know but something did because I never would've bought those on my own. I can't stand roosters but I freaking bought not one but TWO of the stupid things and now they are on my kitchen wall. lol. Oh and when I was shopping for things to put in your package, I did feel like there was a presence with me helping me pick things out, so maybe it was Patrick.

Oh my God. Lol!  Mom and I are ALWAYS making a joke about roosters in kitchens.  My brother HATES them and he is always telling us that we have too many roosters in our kitchen.  (We only have one fancy glass ‘window’ picture with a rooster, a little canister and a fancy iron pot rack with roosters… and to my brother that’s extreme. Lol!)  So whenever Mom and I are at the store and we see statues of roosters, etc. we always say we’re going to buy it just to tick my brother off. Lol! I think that’s so funny.  Maybe Patrick impressed you with that.  You did say he’s really good at impressing things upon people.  Sort of like mind control.
(Reminds me of the Phantom. Lol!)
Patrick/Rampant Lion

And also, the other day I was in Walmart and I was waiting in line to pay for my stuff and there was a mom in front of me and all of a sudden she turns around and yells "PATRICK!!!!!!!!!!" REALLY loudly! Scared the crap out of me! LOL! I just thought that was funny. About a couple hours after that I was driving and a truck passed me and on the back was a paining of what looked like a lion from a Scottish crest or something and underneath it, it said "The Scottish Lion". I thought that was weird too. lol

Another impression?  (Through music)

I woke early this morning, and so around 9 o’ clock I decided to work on my story.  I often listen to music while editing or writing, and this morning I decided to put in the cd of a song my brother composed over his computer when he was 16.  It’s called “Kingdom Skies,” and has a very medieval feel to it.  It’s like the song is telling a very old story.  My niece used to call it “The Beauty and the Beast song.” Lol!

It AMAZES me that my brother wrote this on his own when he was so young.  He doesn’t even read music and wrote it all by ear/trial and error.  Anyway… when I heard that song that’s when I pretty much decided to definitely start writing.  I had notes written down, but never actually sat down at the computer and started writing scenes.

Anyhow…. listening to “Kingdom Skies” got me thinking about how you said that Patrick is very good at “impressing” people.  I often wonder if Patrick somehow impressed/influenced my brother to write that song; hence it’s medieval/fairytale-ish quality.  And in doing so, he knew that my hearing that song… which was sooo creative and really did tell a story… would catapult me into the writing.  Light a fire under my arse, if you will.
