One More Match
Have you ever been cold, tired, and lonely? You are not alone….

“Abby girl,” a familiar male voice called softly.
     “Joshua?” she whispered.
She was enveloped in warm male laughter. “Abigail Greenly Townsend, open your eyes.”
She felt the soft quilt wrapped around her shoulders, tender lips brushing across her cheek. Opening her eyes, she looked around in wonder. She was sitting in front of a fire. Holding her hand out to the cheerful flames she saw the golden sparkle of the simple wedding band on her finger. Her eyes grew wide….
Twists of Fate: Changing Fate
Ever had a one of those days when you know you should have stayed in bed? Or you’ve been blown all over the room? That was the end of Mackenna Wynter’s bad day

Mackenna arched a brow, looking him up and down. “You’re the courier?”
Draco grinned. This little thing was full of spunk. He bowed deeply. “Draco Frost, at your service.”
Mackenna bit back a smile. “Well, at least you can put two words together coherently. That’s a switch.” She grabbed the envelope with the CD’s, tossing it to him.
Betsy snickered. “Awww, don’t be mean to the cute kitty. He can’t help it cause he’s as big as a house.”
Mackenna frowned. “No comments from the peanut gallery.” She turned, grabbing her pack and ready to get the Hell outta Dodge. She was tired, she hurt, and Hell would freeze over before she agreed with Betsy…the cat man was cute.
Draco caught the envelope easily. He looked the tiny woman over a bit more carefully, seeing the dark circles under her eyes, the various bumps and bruises that she tried to hide. “You think you can make it home in one piece?”       Mackenna stiffened her shoulders, pinning him with an icy glare. “I’ll be just fine, thanks.” She walked proudly towards the back door. “And don’t let the doorknob hit you in the ass on the way out.”
The cat within Draco roared. He couldn’t let her leave, not bleeding and in pain like she was. He took her arm, stopping her. “Let me help you.” The beast within him had never reacted to a female like this before. Any female.
Mackenna looked at the hand grasping her lightly around the upper arm. “If you wanna keep that hand, I suggest you remove it from my arm. Now.”
Twists of Fate: Broken Memories
Death is hard, no matter what the time in life. To lose a friend, that can be even harder. To kill a friend…that can be the most painful of all. Could you ever kill a friend?

The images changed again. She was on the cliff, staring at what was her friend. At least, before she destroyed him.
“Shoot me dammit! I don’t want to hurt you.”
She could feel the beast rising within him, clawing its way to the surface. “I can’t. I can’t kill you.” She all but wept form the torment inside her. Inside them both.
He snarled, clawing the ground. “Do it now! Don’t let me hurt you!”
She shook her head. “No! I can help you!”
He crouched down, leaping at her.
She had no choice. She raised the crossbow and forced herself to fire three rapid shots, piercing his chest and sending his body flipping off the cliff into the churning waters below. She ran to the edge, dropping to her knees as the crossbow fell from her nerveless fingers.
She searched for the body for days.
      Then they took her away.
