| The Niagara Regional Police Pipe Band has a long standing History.
It's one of those success
stories of a band that started with humble beginnings and has gone on to achieve one of the highest awards in the history of the band and it's grade. That would be the Gr2 Ontario Pipe Band Champion Supreme award for the most points accumulated over the summer competition season. Also in that same year, the band broke into the top 6 places at the World Pipe Band Championships that are held each year in Glasgow, Scotland. All that despite a torrential down pour during the band's 5 minute performace on the field. Make's me wonder what we could have accomplished had the weather been more favourable for us. |
