I've taken a meter of shining steel and hacked my way through demon hordes. I've locked and loaded an automatic weapon and sawed through elite enemy units. I've been a mage and bent the forces of magick to my will. I've been a commander leading hordes of orcs or marines to bring the fight out of our beloved homeland and into the festering pit the enemy is spewing from. As you've no doubt guessed, I've done all this from a computer. Here now are some of the better games I've played.
Diablo II - Hack your way through legions of enemies as cool heroes in this mindless slaughter.
Baldur's Gate 2 - Well worth a mention.
Neverwinter Nights - Dungeons and Dragons on a computer. Well... sort of.
Crimsonland - The best freeware game of all time, no question.
Heretic - He's stepping on your feet.
Goldeneye - The best console game of its day, an era belonged to Goldeneye.
DOOM - The gradaddy of the FPS, this game deserves a mention.
Warcraft III - Cute peons in 3-D! Awesome cinematics! Decent gameplay! And Arthas too!
