| Sows (females) obviously pregnant; Running lice; Breaks in the skin, open wounds or with scabs; |
| Fatty eye/s (to be seen without lowering the eye lid); and Physical abnormalities (bent legs, back problems, wry neck, missing eyes, or other signs of ill health). |
| FOR ALL BREEDS: |
| FOR ALL SHORT/SMOOTHHAIRED BREEDS (INCLUDING CRESTED) |
| Side Whiskers; Rosettes in coat (obviously excluding a crest on crested breeds); |
| Artificial colouring; and Trimmed / cut coats. |
| FOR THE REX |
| Rosettes - full or partial; and |
| Hair lying the the wrong way to the coat. |
| FOR THE DUTCH |
| One footstop, or no foot stops; and |
| Footstops above the hock (ankle) |
| FOR THE HIMALAYAN |
| White toenails, and/or white patches on feet. |
| FOR THE HARLEQUIN and BRINDLE |
| Any white on the body. |
| FOR THE ROAN |
| Any sign of a blaze. |
| FOR THE SABLE |
| White toes or skin |
| Any foreign colour patches |

| In order to keep the cavies on the table being fit and healthy - and to stop them straying too far from the standard, there are some things which are automatic disqualifications. There are also disqualifications for particular groups of cavies. |
