 | Being dead is a very busy business, and that doesn't exclude Tsuzuki Asato. He's a guardian of death (shinigami) and his job is to make sure people who are dead stay dead. Even though he has been in the business for over 70 years he has a tendancy to drive away his partners with his foolishness. That is, until his new partner, cold-hearted, 16 year old Hisoka Kurosaki, shows up. With each case these two solve they learn more about eachother and their dark pasts. Of course, what is a great story without a sadistic serial killer and absurd cases to solve?
