Chapter 9 They walked through the hallway to Matt and Jeff’s dressing room.  They were stopped by a very large man who asked Matt something.  Matt introduced the girls to the man who’s name was Hunter.  "I think his arms are gonna explode.", Josie whispered to Sky as they turned to enter the dressing room.  They entered the room to find Jeff sitting on the floor stretching.  Their was a young lady sitting next to him also stretching.  Jeff looked up to see the girls.  "You did make it.", he said standing up to greet them.  He walked over to Sky and gave her a long hug, "I’m glad.", he whispered to her.  "This is Amy.", Matt said, introducing them to the young lady who had stood up.  "Nice to meet you.", Sky said shaking her hand.  "Likewise.", Amy said with a smile.  She was their ‘team mate’ and a long time friend they were told.  Matt reached into his bag and handed them two tickets and two passes.  The door opened and two tall men with blonde hair entered. "We need to go over this one more time.", the shorter of the two said.  "Oh, I’m sorry.  I didn’t know you had company.", he said smiling at Josie.  "Josie and Sky, this is Jay and Adam.  We’re wrestling them tonight.", Matt informed them.  "Nice to meet you ladies.", Adam said shaking their hands.  "Nice indeed.", Jay said as he took his turn shaking their hands.  "You’re gonna have to excuse us.  We need to go through this stuff real quick.", Jeff said.  "We’ll just go on out and find our seats.", Josie said smiling at the guys.  "Okay.  See you in a bit.", Matt said giving Josie a kiss.  They made their way out to the floor and found their seats, ringside.  "Look at all these  people.", Sky said amazed.  "I guess we’ve been missing out on something.  There sure are a lot of people who like this stuff.", Josie said as she looked around at the sold out arena.  Sky agreed as they sat and watched all of the people.  The music started and so did the show.  They watched the first match and were waiting for the next one.  "I don’t get what the big deal is.  Just a couple of guys in a ring, beating each other up.  Where’s the hook?", Sky asked her sister who just shrugged her shoulders in agreement.  Loud music sounded again and they saw Adam and Jay making their way down the ramp towards the ring.  They took their place in the center of the ring and began speaking to the crowd.  They were talking about how they, Edge and Christian as they referred to themselves,  were going to beat up Matt and Jeff.  "This should be interesting.", Josie said as more loud music sounded.  The girls’ attention was turned to the top of the ramp where Matt and Jeff had taken their place.  Amy was with them, but they were calling her Lita.  Sky could not take her eyes off of Jeff.  She was seeing the showman side of him for the first time.  She could tell that he loved the reaction that they got from the crowd.  But then again, who wouldn’t enjoy thousands of fans screaming for them.  The guys stood atop the ring posts giving their fans an opportunity to take pictures.  Jeff flashed a smile at Sky as he jumped down from the ropes.   "Did you see that?!", the girl next sitting next to her said to her friend, "Jeff, smiled at me."  Sky smiled and turned to the girl, "Do you like him?"  "Are you kidding?", the girl said as Sky noticed she was wearing a Hardy Boyz t-shirt, "He’s my favorite.  He’s so awesome."  Sky smiled and chuckled to herself as she turned back to watch the match that was starting.  It wasn’t too bad at first.  She new it was an act and that these guys were really friends.  But as the match continued, Sky became uncomfortable.  Jeff was really taking a beating and she wasn’t sure she could watch.  "He’s okay.", Josie said, "remember, this is what he does for a living."  Matt knocked Jay down and Jeff climbed onto the top rope.  "What’s he doing?", Sky asked cringing.  Jeff flashed some gun signs to the crowd and yelled something that she couldn’t understand.  Then he took a swan dive off of the rope and flipped onto Jay.  He pinned him and got the win.  "He’s going to break his neck doing that.", Sky said shaking her head.  "He knows what he’s doing.", Josie reassured her.  Adam rounded the corner of the ring to come after Matt, but was stopped in his tracks.  Amy jumped off of the top rope locking her legs around his neck.  She then threw herself to the floor causing Adam to do a flip and land on his back.  She then joined Matt and Jeff and they walked back up the ramp to the loud screams of hundreds of fans.  "I can’t watch anymore of this.  I need to go make sure he’s okay.", Sky said standing up and grabbing Josie’s hand., "Come on."  "Sky, he’s fine.", Josie said pleading for her to let go.  "Just humor me, okay.", Sky said pulling her sister along behind her.  They made their way backstage and to the dressing room.  They knocked on the door.  Jeff opened it to find a very concerned Sky.  "Are you okay?", she asked as she hugged him.  "Yeah, a little tired, but I’m fine.", he said.  "But you looked like you were really hurt.", she said letting go of him and getting out of her sister’s way.  Josie made her way over to Matt.  "You okay?", she asked him with less concern than Sky had shown.  "Yep.  I’m just fine.", he said as he hugged her.  "I’m sorry.  I guess I should have prepared you a little more.", Jeff said realizing that Sky had never seen a show before.  "That’s okay.  As long as you’re really okay.", Sky said smiling.  "I’m more than okay, you’re here.  My very own personal doctor.", he said laughing.             Last Chapter ..*..
