The Kid's Place is a private, semi-structured child care facility. Although The Kid's Place IS NOT a preschool, a preschool program is offered at your option to children ages 2 to 5 years of age. We use a combination of curriculum. These are provider planned activities.

Your child will learn their colors, shapes, numbers, and alphabet. Older children will learn how to use scissors, trace lines, and eventually learn how to write letters and numbers - even their names! We also do "themed" related activities.

Your child will learn their social skills through their play and interaction with one another. Our facility is set up in small "play-centers", i.e., Table Toys, Blocks, Manipulatives, Housekeeping, etc. This allows children to make their own choices of what center they would like to play in, not just picking out a toy from a toy chest.
