L'Arcipelago delle Isole Pontine o Ponziane (Provincia di Latina - Lazio) è
composto da due gruppi di isole,
disposti quasi per NW-SE e distanti tra loro circa 22 miglia.
Quello Nord - occidentale comprende l'Isola di Ponza (Comune) e le isolette di
Palmarola, Gavi e Zannone.
Quello Sud - orientale comprende Ventotene (Comune) e l' isolotto di S. Stefano.
The Archipelago of the Pontine or Ponziane Islands (in the Province of
Latina, Latium) comprises two groups of islands, positioned NW and SE of each
other at a distance of some 22 miles.
The Northeastern group is composed of the island of Ponza, (the adminstrative
centre) and the small islands of Palmarola, Gavi and Zannone. The Southwestern
group comprises Ventotene (the administrative centre) and the small island of S.
Stefano.
Der archipel der Pontinischen Inseln gehört zur Provinz Latina, Region
Latium und setzt sich aus zwei Grupen von Inseln zusammen; sie sind auf die
Achse NW-SE ausgerichtet und liegen ungefähr 22 Seemeilen voneinander entfernt.
Zur nordwestlichenlnselgruppe gehören die Insel Ponza (eigene Gemeinde) und die
Inselchen Palmarola, Gavi und Zannone, Die südöstiliche Gruppe umfasst
Ventotene (Gemeinde) und das Inselchen Santo Stefano
