| PHILIPPINES is located in the map of the world in southeast asia region. It is by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 905 issued in 18December1996 by former President Fidel Ramos, Philippines was recognized South Sea Pearl ( Philippine Pearl ) and was named country's national gem because of its captivating spectrum of colors, played a major historical roles in pre- Hispanic trading between the Philippines and its Asian neighbors. The local pearl industry has produced the world's largest pearl known as the "Pearl of Allah" or the "Pearl of Lao Tze." Philippines is now one of the largest producers of South Sea Pearls. Filipinos, known for its hospitality traits, are proud to welcome one and all to visit its tourist spots some of which are the Boracay Island, with 32 magnificent powdery white sand beaches; the 2000- year old rice terraces in Banaue, otherwise known as The Eight Wonder of the World, lies amidst pine-covered hills with its cool climate is Baguio, the Philippines summer capital; The Tabon Caves in Southern Palawan consist of 29- cave complex of archaeological artifacts and fossilized bones of the tabon man. The skull is carbon dated to be 22 years old. We have also the biggest family theme park, the Enchanted Kingdom, located in Sta. Rosa, Laguna where everybody can have fun! In Philippine map, Luzon is the largest Island where Metro Manila is situated. I live in the City of Pasig, Metro Manila (part of Luzon, the appropriate links of the map is provided below) where people are named Pasiguenos. It is believe, the romantic legend concerning the etimology of the word "Pasig", revolves around a Tagalog maiden name Paz and her Spanish lover, Virgilio. One evening, the lovers went out boating in the Pasig River. Unfortunately, the banca capsized and Virgilio did not know how to swim. In calling for help he gasped, "Paz, sigue me.. Paz, sigue me" (meaning follow me) until he sank and the last word heard from him is "Paz... sig." |

| Soulmate When we have clarity about why certain situations happens in our lives, making the right decisions to bring peace, love and happiness in to our life is the imperative move in order for one to grow. Hearing so many different theories of a soul mate I wonder whether it is a spiritual connection or just a broken relationship going nowhere.. I believe we all have soul mates in our lives, but not all are not meant to be life long partnership. Happiness is a choice! The true meaning of failure is not even trying.. so even if the first or second relationship doesn't work out at all, at least you cannot say from within yourself that you are a failure. We all have adversity at times in our lives. The thing is to face it, deal with it, then let it go. Depression or any feelings of discouragement that emerge in life must be totally fight off to have a much better chance of attaining our goals. It takes hard work, discipline, dedication and a true desire to overcome adversity is most important. I know we can't control the whole world, but we can control our state of mind. When everything is at the darkest, we have to be positive. Always focus on the positive side of the situation, if you can't find one, search till you do! When you know you are loved, you don't have to prove or justify yourself, you are loved for who you are and not what you can do. God is always above all and it is in him, with him and through him, I surrender my fate. |

| During Spouses Warren and Julie Mangibat- Delgado's wedding, I was not able to attend the ceremony because of my work. I need to forge the possibility of amicably settling the case of my client which is unexpectedly scheduled on that very same day. I need to finish the negotiation the same day. In any event, I proceeded immediately at the reception hall, even if the wedding is almost done, to greet the newly wed. Once again, I extend my apology. |
