| This site was created to share my personality with the world and help me stay in touch with my family, loved ones, relatives and friends. It is an online resource and a convenient space for capturing the stories and pictures of my life. Like many people, I have lived the norm for all the years but wasn't fully satisfied, there is a need to release the potential in me and in Jesus time, it will be done. I know people have lots of good times and some bad times too, but for me it's better to be myself. I liked the message that people should do what they love and that success will flow from there. Individuals can take charge of their lives, that money isn't the most important thing .. although it's reasonably close to oxygen, for me it's values and morals still counts, families too are worth preserving. | Moral and Ethical Absence Many are new to the fields of computer ethics and public policy so little attention had been paid to the ethical dimension of inter connectivity that can create moral problems triggered by the expanded use of communication and information network. Our children are our Nation's most valuable asset and also the most vulnerable members of society. Advances in computer and telecommunication technology that allow our children to reach out to new sources of knowledge and cultural experiences are also leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and harm by computer-sex offenders. Being exposed to different cultures and ways of life, can be dangerous. There are individuals who attempt to sexually exploit children through the use of on-line services and the Internet. Some of these individuals gradually seduce their target through the use of attention, affection, kindness and even gifts. They will be aware of the latest music, hobbies and interests of children and later on attempt to gradually lower children's inhibitions by slowly introducing sexual content into their conversations. Some predator primarily collect and trade child- pornographic images while others seek face-to-face meetings with children via on-line contacts. Even the unexperienced adults are sometimes interested in and curious about sexuality and sexually explicit material, nevertheless they have been seduced and manipulated by a group of clever offenders and do not fully understand or recognize the potential danger of these contacts. Child pornography is often use in the sexual victimization of children that sex between adults and children, is "normal." Sex offenders often engage in phone sex and seek to set up for actual meeting for real sex. Computer-sex offenders have even sent plane tickets in order for the child to travel across the country to meet them and may also become withdrawn after sexual victimization. While electronic chat can be a great place for children to make new friends and discuss various topics of interest, it is also prowled by computer sex-offenders. Use of the chat rooms, in particular, should be heavily monitored. There are dangers in every part of our society. By educating your children to these dangers and taking appropriate steps to protect them, they can benefit through a wealth of information now available on-line. | Footprints in the Sand One night, a man had a dream. He dreamed He was walking along the beach with the LORD Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: One belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, He looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life, there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest time in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most, you would leave me." The LORD replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." |
