| True Love Conquers All - Chapter 3-4 When Jocelyn told everyone at school on Monday and Tuesday that she had gotten a modeling offer, they could not believe her at all. Jocelyn was not one of the "popular" people at school and she was not one of the prettiest either.... at least not before. Most of Jocelyn's really close friends were really happy for her, yet the people that didn't really care for her were just like "whatever"! Jocelyn went to all of her teachers that she had and collected all of her homework that she had to do for the rest of the week since she was going to be gone. Jocelyn figured out that she had her work cut out for her on this trip. Sure! Jocelyn was only going to be gone for 5 days, yet it was SOO hard to leave all of her friends. The hardest thing for her to do was to leave her best friend Kara. Kara had been with Jocelyn through SOO much these past few years and they were closer than EVER! Kara went with Jocelyn's parents to take Jocelyn to the airport to say goodbye. As Jocelyn was sitting down on the airplane, she had just realized who she was actually going to meet and what she was going to do! This was definitely a dream come true and it hadn't even started yet! When Jocelyn reached her hotel, she could not believe the accomadations that the agency had put her up in. They were SOO amazing! The hotel room was beautiful and elegent! Jocelyn decided that since it was as late as it was when she got there and taking into consideration that she had such a long day ahead of her, she decided that she would go to bed now and get her beauty sleep! Jocelyn's alarm went off at 6:00 am the next morning. She got up and remembering what the agency had told her, she didn't put on any make-up and she just wore a t-shirt and jeans. After all of this so called "preperations", Jocelyn headed to the studio. As Jocelyn opened the door to the studio everything just kinda hit her then. The whole concept of why she was there and who she was going to meet later and the opportunities that this all brought about. Jocelyn was amazed that this hadn't hit her sooner. A whole crowd of people swarmed to Jocelyn as she was walking into the studio. The make up people were rushing her and trying to match up the different skin tones while the wardrobe people were trying to figure out her body shape to dress her for the different clothes. It was true chaos, yet is seemed so wonderful. They finally got the make-up and clothes finished and Jocelyn was ready for her photo session. At first, they had Jocelyn in a Tommy t-shirt and a pair of jeans. They used a white background since the shirt was blue. The went through different styles of clothing, from the jeans and t-shirt to a dress. The shoot was the most beautiful thing in the world that she had ever experienced in her life. Jocelyn thought to herself that she would love to be doing this for the rest of her life. This would open soo many doors for her and she really needed that. Jocelyn was in her dressing room after the shoot and she had just finished changing when she heard a knock at the door. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn: Who is it?! UNKNOWN: It's Justin, can I come in?! Jocelyn: Oh my gosh! Of course! Come in.... come in. Justin: Hey girl! What's going on?! ::Justin walked up and hugged Jocelyn.:: Jocelyn: Oh my gosh! It's really you. I can't believe it! ::starts crying:: Justin: Don't cry. Please. I'm a normal guy, trust me! Jocelyn: I can't help myself. You are my TOTAL inspiration Justin! I love you to death!.......... okay, I am calm. Now that that's out of my system! ::smiles:: Justin: Hey, that shoot was awesome! You are a beautiful young woman! Jocelyn: You are too cool Justin, it's still so hard to believe that I am actually standing in the same room with you. It's awesome! Justin: Thanks! I am actually really glad that I got to meet you too. I just couldn't imagine that from the sincerity of your letter, that there was an actual person out there that cares SOO much for 'N Sync as a group and for me. Jocelyn: Well, you better believe it because I DO!!! ::hugs eachother:: Justin: So.... you want to go grab a bite to eat or something?! Jocelyn: Sure! I'm starving! I need to go and talk to Travis before we leave though because he told me to come and see him before I left. Justin: Alright, let's go! ::Justin and Jocelyn walked out of the dressing room and found Travis.....:: Jocelyn: Travis, is there anything that you need or need me to do before I leave?! Travis: Well, first of all, we would like to congratulate you because today's shoot was a HUGE success and IMG has decided to sign you to a modeling contract. Jocelyn: Are you serious?! Oh my gosh! Thank you SOO much Travis, for everything. Travis: Yup! No problem. I also want to you take all of those clothes over there that we have set out because Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren are our official sponsors and any model that we sign are suppose to take the clothes and you also have a spending limit of $1000 dollars a month on either Tommmy or Ralph Lauren clothes. Here's the card and there are the clothes. Jocelyn: This is TOO awesome! Thank you again for everything Travis! Travis: No problem! See you two later! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn and Justin grabbed the clothes off of the rack and took them out to the parking lot where Justin had parked his car. They put them in the car and drove off. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin: Okay, where do you want to go to eat?! Jocelyn: Ummm.... I don't care. I'm not from here, so I really don't know what ya'll have to eat down here. Justin: There is everything. Tell ya what?! Why don't we just go grab a hamburger and then I'll take you back to my house and you can meet my family. Is that okay?! Jocelyn: Well.... actually, can you take me by my hotel room first so that I can take these clothes up and get them out of your car?! Justin: Yeah! That's actually a really good idea. Let's do that. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They drove to a local hamburger shack and picked up couple of hamburgers and then headed to Jocelyn's hotel room. They grabbed the tons of clothes that the agency had supplied her with and took them up to her hotel room. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin: This is a REALLY nice hotel room. The agency put you up in this?! Jocelyn: Yeah! Isn't it great?! Justin: It's beautiful! Jocelyn: Okay, just bring the clothes in here and lay them on the bed. I can put them up later if you are in a rush. Justin: Nah! Let's go ahead and put them up now. That way you won't have to do it later. Jocelyn: Okay, thanks! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin and Jocelyn proceeded to put up the clothes in the closet. Jocelyn: Hey, do we have time so that I can change real quick?! Justin: Yeah! We have all the time in the world, it's okay, go ahead. You don't need to change though. You're beautiful in anything. Jocelyn: Thanks! I just want to wear some new clothes! ::smiles:: Justin: Okay, I'll wait in your living room. Jocelyn: Okay, thanks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn proceeded to change her clothes. She put on a pair of TOMMY jeans and put on a baby blue TOMMY shirt with a short white shirt under it. Jocelyn finished up and walked into the living room. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin: WOW! You look incredible! Jocelyn: Thanks! I love these new clothes! Justin: Ready to go?! Jocelyn: Yeah! Let's hit the road! ::smiles:: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin and Jocelyn pulled up to Justin's house and she could see JC's jeep in the driveway. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn: Is that JC's jeep?! Justin: Yeah! How did you know?! Jocelyn: Well.... I just knew that he had a jeep and that he lived here with you, Chris and your mom, so I figured that it was his. Justin: ::laughs:: Oh yeah. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They went inside the house and met up with Justin's mom, Lynn and his stepdad, Paul. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin: Mom... Paul.... this is Jocelyn, you know, that girl that I told you about?! Lynn: Oh yeah! It's nice to meet you Jocelyn! Justin has been talking about you a lot lately. Jocelyn: ::smiles:: It's really nice to meet you both. Lynn: So how do you like it in Flordia so far?! Have you ever been here before?! Jocelyn: I LOVE IT!!! It's amazingly beautiful, not to forget that there are incredibly nice people here. I have never been here before. The farthest east that I have ever been is to Missouri, so that shows how much I get out. Lynn: WOW! You really haven't seen very much of the country have you?! Well, actually, I hadn't either until I started traveling with the boys. Then we went all over the place. The world is much bigger than you would ever think. Justin: Well, Jocelyn and I are just going to go out and drive around for a while, we may stop in on some of my friends since I just got back off of touring and I haven't seen them in a really long time. Lynn: Okay, you kids have fun! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn and Justin went driving around for about an hour and a half and they decided to go to one of Justin's friend's houses to say "hi". After they left there, it was about 12:30 and they figured that they would head on home. Justin took Jocelyn back to her hotel room and dropped her off. The whole night was a complete success and Justin and Jocelyn decided to spend all day together tomorrow. Jocelyn woke up the next morning to the sound of the telephone. She answered the phone. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn: Hello?! UNKNOWN: Hey Jocelyn, this is Travis. Did I wake you up?! Jocelyn: Oh hey Travis! Yeah, but that's okay. Travis: Okay. Well, the agency wants you to come by here and do a small interview so that we know a little bit about you. It can be used for later when you are a famous super model! Jocelyn: ::laughs:: Okay, what time do you want to do it?! Travis: Whenever you can get over here would be great. The agency also was SOO impressed with you that they want to get in a small photo shoot today with a celebrity. Would that be okay?! Jocelyn: Yeah! Sure! What celebrity?! Travis: Well, Britney Spears just came in town and we thought that it would be really neat to have two upcoming stars on the cover of next month's "Entertainment Weekly"! Jocelyn: That would be great, but do you really think that I am going to make it that far in this business?! Travis: Oh girl, from the way that the guys here were talking, you could make it as far as you would like. Jocelyn: WOW! I never thought that something like this could or would happen to me. Travis: Well, you better rethink your life plan because it all changed when you signed that modeling contract. Jocelyn: Okay..... I will be over there in a little while. Maybe an hour.... hour and a half?! Travis: Okay, that's fine! See ya then! Jocelyn: Bye! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn got up and figured that she was going to put on something REALLY nice to meet with Britney Spears! She couldn't believe that she was actually going to meet her. Jocelyn put on a pair of khaki shorts with a brown belt and a yellow TOMMY tank top. She figured that it really didn't much matter what she wore since they would probably change her into something else later anyways. The taxi dropped Jocelyn off at the studio. She went in to find Travis because she had a question that she needed to ask him. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn: Travis, with all of the driving around and stuff that I am going to have to do with this modeling thing, how am I going to be able to get around?! I'm only 14, I can't legally drive by myself! Travis: Well.... something that we have done with the other models that were 14.... wait.... we haven't had any models under 14. You are the first person that IMG has ever signed to a modeling contract that's been under 15. I think that we can work something out with the motor vehicle place and you can take an extensive driving test and you may be able to get your actual drivers license at 14. Jocelyn: Are you serious?! That would be SOO awesome! Travis: Yeah, I will make a call later and let you know. Jocelyn: Thanks Travis! You are the best! Travis: Thanks! Hey, Jocelyn, look who it is..... Jocelyn: OH MY GOSH!!! Britney Spears!!! This is TOO awesome!!! Travis: Britney, I would like for you to meet Jocelyn. Jocelyn, this is Britney! Britney: Hey Jocelyn! How are you?! Jocelyn: Oh my gosh, it's really you! You are like totally awesome Britney! Britney: Thanks Jocelyn. Well, I guess we are going to probably be working together a lot! Jocelyn: I would love that. It actually kinda looks that way. Britney: Tell you what, since we are going to be working together a lot, how about you and I go grab a bite to eat afterwards. Jocelyn: That would be great. Travis: Okay you two. Let's get this show on the road. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The shoot went quite well. Britney was just as beautiful in person as she was on all of the magazine covers and talk shows that Jocelyn had seen her on! It was like a dream come true! Could Jocelyn's life get any better?! After the shoot, Jocelyn sat down with Travis to do the interview that she had promised to do. Just as Jocelyn was sitting down for the interview, Justin walked in. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin: What's up ya'll?! Travis:Travis: We were just sitting down to do an interview with Jocelyn. ::Britney walks in:: Justin: Hey Britney! What's up girl?! Britney: Hey Justin! Travis:Travis: Okay, let's get this interview started, okay. Justin: Can Britney and I sit here and listen?! Jocelyn: Yeah, of course! Travis: Okay, first question. What's your full name?! Jocelyn: Jocelyn LeNae Langlois Travis: Birthdate. Jocelyn: May 29, 1984 Travis: Birthplace. Jocelyn: Wichita, Kansas Travis: Any siblings?! I am sure that you will have to do plenty more in your lifetime! Jocelyn: Thanks! Okay, do you want to go eat now Britney?! Britney: Yeah! Justin, do you want to come along?! Justin: Sure! Jocelyn: See you later Travis! Travis: Bye! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin, Britney and Jocelyn all piled into Justin's Mercedes and went to a local cafe to grab a bite to eat and talk. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jocelyn: So.... Justin, Britney, I know that you have been asked this question SOO many times and you have answered it SOO many times, but I truthfully want to know whether you two are dating. Britney: No. Justin and the rest of the guys are like big brothers to me. I am telling you the truth too. Don't sweat it girl! You can have him! ::smiles:: Jocelyn: ::blushes:: Thanks, I think. I just wanted to get that cleared up because there has been soo many people online saying that you two were dating even after you had said that you weren't for the millionth time. I kept trying to say that you weren't and that I believed you two, but no one believed me. One thing that makes me really upset is that people don't like the girls that you guys are "dating" just for the fact that you are dating them. That royally makes me mad! Like with the whole Danielle and Lance issue, people were saying "Oh! Danielle is such a slut, I can't believe that Lance would actually date her." I was just like, "Chill out people, I mean, put yourself in her shoes for a second and think. Would you want everyone to hate you just because you were dating a famous guy." Sorry. I am just babbling now, but it makes me so gosh darn made that people can't wake up and realize that you will NEVER date one of the 'N Sync members! It's like "UHHH!!!!" Justin: Jocelyn, you are SOOO wonderfully perfect! Jocelyn: Why do you say that?! Justin: Hardly any of our fans are like that, I mean, they are like... "Oh, if we can't have them then no one can!" It drives us crazy sometimes! Jocelyn: I know and that's what I am trying to get across to some of your fans, but it's not working. Justin: That's okay. Thanks for trying, but I don't think that any of them will ever understand. Jocelyn: I don't think so either. Justin: Ya know Britney, I think that you and Jocelyn are a lot alike. You two are just like SOO easy to talk to and I LOVE it. Britney: Do you guys want to know what I think?! Justin: What?! Britney: I think that you and Jocelyn should hook up because you two are like the perfect match. Justin, you are always so uptight and everything and every since you two have been talking, you have really loosened up and I think that that's what you need. Justin: Are you serious?! Have I been different lately?! I thought that I have been too. That's cool. Britney: Tell you what, I am going to get out of your hair and you two need to go out tonight. Jocelyn, call me tomorrow and we can go shopping okay?! Here's my number. Jocelyn: Sounds good! Thanks Britney! Britney: No problem! Justin ended up taking Jocelyn home about 1am and walked her up to her door and kissed her goodnight. |
